The paper attempts to analyze the status of women empowerment and women political participation in Surat urban area. In present times, empowerment of women has become one of the most important concerns of 21th century because of their right to participate in political processes which also impact their family and in turn the society. Countries are making attempt to increase women’s political participation and leadership in civil society and now political parties want more women to join in political activities.

Definition and implantation of national policies to reduce digital exclusion involve organizational, social and management aspects. In Brazil, in view of socioeconomic, cultural, geographical, and demographical differences, implanting such policies means bringing into focus scenarios that compromise problems already discussed in the published literature with respect to Information Systems in Developing Countries. This paper presents the necessity to implant national policies of exception to expand projects of digital inclusion in regions with unique features such as Amazon.

India has more new TB cases annually than any other country. The present study aimed to determine the factors influencing compliance to DOTS in tuberculosis patients and to ascertain the relationship of factors with selected variables. The Quantitative research approach and non-experimental exploratory research design was used and study carried out in selected DOTS centers. Total 110 tuberculosis patients taking DOTS were chosen by Purposive sampling technique. Self structured checklist was used to determine the factors influencing DOTS compliance among tuberculosis patients.

This study examines the perception of farmers about current climate variability and compare that perception with respect to climate data over the last 30 years. It also assesses the evolution of forest cover and adaptation measures. It is based on a survey of farmers, interviews with officials of the forest administration and agriculture, and focus group.

In several private higher education courses increased enrollments has concentrated especially at night. In order to analyze the profile of students of Psychology research was held on the Campus of the Centro Universitário do Norte Paulista. 182 questionnaires were analyzed socio-demographic and identified that the average age of the students was 25.80 and the dominance of women (79), single women (76) and who work in addition to studying (72).

The paper examines Leonora Sansay’s Secret History with view at highlighting the unique way the author has tackled the issue of woman. Unlike mainstream feminist work, Sansay's text does not merely dwell on the oppression women face from the patriarchal community; rather it highlights women's agency in combating such oppression.
