Advantage of prey due to herd behavior in diseases-selective system

In this paper the mathematical model of disease-selective predation as proposed by Roy and Chattopadhyay [10] is considered to identify the true risk of selective predation where the predator can recognize the infected prey and avoids those during predation. Furthermore, the model is modified and find out the conditions of getting advantage of prey due to herd in diseases-selective model both numerically and analytically to review the risk factors. Finally, we observe that the risk of prey extinction in disease selective can be arrest in certain level due to herd behavior of prey.

Face recognition for different facial exprisions based on pca, lda analysis

The face is our primary focus of attention in social intercourse, playing a major role in identity. We can recognize thousands of faces in our lifetime and identify familiar faces at glance even after years of separation but it is difficult for computer compared with the human brain. In this paper presents comparative study of PCA (Principal Components Analysis) and LDA (Linear Discriminant Analysis) which are most popular appearance-based approaches in face recognition. PCA is recognized as an optimal method to perform dimension reduction.

Effect of solar treatment and different colors on callosobruchus chinensis on cowpea under storage condition

The exposure period of 24 hrs to solar energy in black and blue coloured bags was most effective to reduce adult emergence and infestation and to cause adult mortality of C. chinensis. The seed germination was also decreased with the increase in solar time exposures.

Effectiveness of tai – chi dance on selected parameters among hypertensive elderly in selected old age home

Aim of the study: To Assess the effectiveness of Tai – chi dance on selected parameters among hypertensive elderly in selected old age home. In India as per 2015 survey 20.8 million people older adults were living. In that 9.2 million people affected with hypertension. As older adults live longer, they may have more health problems like hypertension and diabetes mellitus.

Study of diatom flora for the site identification of yamuna river at Delhi

In forensic science, analysis of diatom is a valuable tool used in diagnosis of drowning and Dumping cases. Diatoms are unicellular plants or micro-organism used in forensic science for differentiating anti-mortem from Post-mortem in drowning. Diatoms belongs to Bacillarophyceasae division of the family chrysophyta is a microscopic unicellular plants. In this study, the fresh water (Yamuna River) samples are collected in the different region of Delhi city and an attempt was made to create data of diatoms seen in the Yamuna river water bodies.

Site characterization through soil sample of different ghats of allahabad for forensic consideration

Now days it is significant to utilize amalgamation of independent analytical techniques. In order, to truly portray or characterize between different samples of geological micro evidence in culprit examination.
