The main objective of this paper was to apply the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) through Geographical Information System (GIS) in the Cubatão do Norte watershed, in Joinville and Garuva municipalities of Santa Catarina State. The map of annual estimated soil loss by water erosion showed minimum erosion rates of 429.28, average of 854.61 and maximum of 1,579.49 t/ha/year. Soil loss due to water erosion in the Cubatão do Norte watershed can be considered low, since 97.58% of the basin area presented none or slight annual average soil loss, ranging from 0 to 10 t/ha/year.

In this paper we present an analytical solution for advection-diffusion equation, which models the problem of contaminant dispersion in rivers and canals. Therefore, are considered the two-dimensional vertical and three-dimensional models in steady state. The models are valid for variables velocity profiles and turbulent diffusivities. The approach for the resolution of models is the GILTT method. We also present numerical simulations.

Big data is a term for data sets that are so large or complex that traditional data processing application software’s are inadequate to deal with them. Challenges include capture, storage, analysis, data curation, search, sharing, transfer, visualization, querying, and updating and information privacy.

Mushroom is one of the banner projects of the university envisioned to enhance the quality and quantity of products per unit of time as well as develop technologies that are low-cost and adaptable to the condition of Ilocos region and the availability of substrate materials for the production of mushroom. It is in this premise that the research and development agenda is formulated to serve as roadmap for the effective and efficient implementation of the project. The study used qualitative method of research focus on the mushroom technology generation and conducted researches.

Steam is essential for the pulp and paper industry, it's possible to dry paper whit it, generate power through turbo generators and blow out boiler tubes. With the ever-constant demand for mass production concerning quality, we are looking for more optimizations criteria aimed at reliability and availability, with cost reduction for a quick return on the investment. This work related the steam production through a chemical recovery boiler, looking for an improvement in the soot blowing system of the boiler.

The current nature of education models lacks intervention that relates to the psycho linguistic semantique and spirituality of the individual for sustainable and the happiness of ummah. Islamic reveal knowledge based on the Quran, hadith, tafseer, and other Islamic references are very rich resources which need to be discovered and used as guidance in solving problems of ummah from all aspects of life. The integration of Islamic knowledge inputs with new method for psycho linguistic semantique will synergize the strength of both the naqli and aqli aspects of both worlds.

To increase student career maturity, counseling approach can be conducted. In the approach, there are several approaches that can be used that is thebehavioral approach, cognitive, existential humanistic. The most widely used by guidance and counseling teachers is the behavioral approach. Career theory is also developed with a behavioral approach one developed by John L. Holland. This career theory has also been widely used as a model of career counseling.

Wind is one of the growing alternative sources of energy in the world offering solutions to the depleting fossil fuels which have continuously polluted the atmosphere by emission of the greenhouse gases. Although wind has proved to be a viable source of green energy, wind turbine machinery construction is accompanied by a lot of challenges during both construction and operation which are at times considered minor but still exhibits tangible impacts.
