This paper aims to investigate the beliefs that are present in the population regarding vaccines during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is considered that during this period; besides the negative effects of the virus, the world also suffers from the dissemination of fake news, inducing a part of the population to have an opinion contrary to what has been sought by scientists.
Introdução: O diabetes tem como uma das complicações o pé diabético, os mesmos representam grave adversidade ao sistema de saúde pública. As amputações resultantes deste agravo ainda são frequentes. A taxa de amputações de membros inferiores tem sido considerada um indicador da qualidade dos cuidados preventivos do pé diabético.
Objetivo: Analisar a evolução e o desfecho final dos pacientes investigados com SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) internados no Hospital Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Vitória e os fatores prevalentes dentre eles. Método: Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo observacional retrospectivo e prospectivo, desenvolvido no Hospital Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Vitória com amostra constituída por pacientes que estiveram internados no hospital de o período de 01 de Março de 2020 a 31 de Junho de 2020, com suspeita de SARS-CoV-2. Resultados: Foram avaliados 149 pacientes.
Estudo transversal, objetivou descrever a correlação entre os domínios da qualidade de vidae a adesão ao tratamento antirretrovirala partir de escores das Escalas de Adesão ao Tratamento (CEAT-HIV) CEAT-HIV e do World Health Organization Quality of Life, versão abreviada (WHOQOL-HIV-Bref) dos 76 adolescentes e adultos jovens vivendo com HIV/Aids acompanhados no ambulatório de um hospital de referência em doenças infectocontagiosas no estado da Paraíba.Utilizou-setambém um questionário estruturado contendo informações sociodemográficas, afetivo-sexual e clínicas.
Violence has been considered one of the current public health problems. Among the various types of violence, urban violence has impacted the experience of those who live with armed conflicts constantly, including access to health services and medicines. This review aimed to analyze whether urban violence is a factor that compromises access to health services and medicines. Scoping review was the method selected. The search for the articles took place entirely online, in July 2019, updated in August 2020, in the main databases.

Introduction: Telemedicine has been progressively applied and accepted, especially in the current context, the new Coronavirus pandemic, with an overload on the health system and the need for social isolation. Objective: To report the experience of global geriatric assessment practice by medical students through teleconsultations. Experience report: Teleconsultations were carried out by medical students in which instruments were applied for the global geriatric assessment of a 72-year-old woman from a short-term institution.
This study shows how location models such as p-median, p-center, and a proposed variation were employed to improve urgent and emergency care provided through the emergency mobile health units (SAMU). Besides incurring unnecessary additional operational costs, it is important to note that the failure or inefficiency of these mobile units can result in loss of human lives. The SAMU system in question serves a city with a population of approximately 213,576 inhabitants and it handles more than 1,400 calls per year.
Objective: To validate the equation obtained by correlating the means of foot anthropometric measurements with the stature of individuals for human identification purposes. Methods: Cross-sectional, prospective, convenience sampling study with a sample of 450 individuals that met the pre-established inclusion criteria. Stature, foot anthropometric measurements, and footprint impressions of all participants were measured. Data were analyzed statistically by the software IBM SPSS, version 23. A significance level of 5% (p≤0.05) was adopted.
Objetivo: Identificar os principais fatores que dificultam a adesão de mulheres ao exame Papanicolau. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, realizado através de uma revisão de literatura, cujo tema abordou os fatores que predispõem a não adesão de mulheres ao exame Papanicolau. Foram utilizados dez artigos científicos, publicados entre 2019 e 2021, com busca na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), sites e plataformas científicas.
