Metodologias ativas: ferramenta da educação inclusiva

O artigo aborda sobre as metodologias ativas, suas diversas definições, e como contribuem para o processo escolar que envolve prática de ensino, aluno e professor. Assim, cabe refletir sobre as metodologias ativas e as alternativas que o seu uso proporciona no ambiente escolar, levando em conta os vários modelos de ensino, o processo de adquirir o conhecimento, os métodos que serão utilizados para esse fim, e analisando ainda a contribuição dessas variáveis no tocante à inclusão escolar do aluno com necessidades educacionais específicas e ao papel do professor nesse contexto.

Case study of covid-19 in patients admitted to a campaign hospital in the city of recife: a retrospective study

Since it was detected in November 2019, the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), has been expanding across different continents, having been characterized as the cause of the COVID-19 pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020.This is a study descriptive and retrospective of patients diagnosed with COVID-19, hospitalized in a field hospital in the city of Recife in the period from April 2020 to September 2020.

Comparative analysis on contract scheme: security or a peril

Contract farming is usually seen as a useful mechanism to assist smallholders in overcoming market access constraints. However, in spite of economic benefits, high smallholder dropout rates from contract schemes are commonplace. The aim of this study is to postulate a mechanism that uses quantitative and qualitative data from the Indian States to show that smallholder farmers benefit from a resource-providing contract in terms of higher yields and incomes, but that most of them still regret their decision to participate within the contract scheme and would like to exit if they might.

Intervenção física para tratar fragilidade em idosos comunitários: revisão sistemática

Objective: Check if the physical intervention reverses the fragility, also evaluating biomarkers associated with this condition. Method: Following the Preferential Report for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyzes (PRISMA statement), a search for articles of physical intervention was carried out in the last ten years, in the database “National Library of Medicine” (PubMed) database; “Scientific Electronic Library Online” (Scielo), “Physiotherapy Evidence Database” (PEDro) using the descriptors: Older adults AND Physical activity AND Frailty.

Validity evidence of the Brazilian version of the inventory young people's love journey

Objective: to analyze the dimensional validity and internal consistency of the Brazilian version of the inventory "Love Journey of young people - YPLJ", which investigates violent events in the relationships of dating and friendship between adolescents and young adults, family, social factors and consequences of these events. Materials and Methods: a cross-sectional study conducted with 380 young people enrolled in the public school system of Feira de Santana-Bahia, Brazil.

Participation of women sportspersons from India in the modern olympic games: a study

The primary objective of the study is to discuss the female participation from India in the Modern Olympic Games. This is a descriptive research based on the secondary data collected from sources such as the factsheets and reports available on the websites of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and many other publications published by various authors on this issue. The results represent that the participation of women sportspersons from India in the Modern Olympic Games was uncertain and insignificant till 2000.

O método de formação dos programas de residência em saúde permite a inserção de metodologias ativas, ofertando novas estratégias educacionais, criando autonomia do residente mesmo em situações de crise. Objetivo: Este estudo tem como objetivo relatar a experiência da utilização de mídias digitais como ferramenta educacional dentro de um programa de residência.

A laser management in cases of laryngeal stenosis due to corrosive poisoning

Background: Post corrosive poisoning result in serious chemical injuries and complications to the gastrointestinal tract and a high mortality rate. Post corrosive Complications that include respiratory injuries are especially significant for determining the severity of acute corrosive poisonings. Mortality is most often caused by tracheal necrosis, perforation of esophagus or stomach, followed by Mediastinitis or peritonitis. Results: Herewith presenting nine cases of laryngotracheal stenosis following corrosive poisoning ingestion.

Clinical safety of zafirlukast treatment during a foreign body inflammatory reaction in nile tilapias, oreochromis niloticus

Seeking to understand the defense mechanisms of tilapia to assist in the sanitary management of fish farms, this study aimed to evaluate the clinical safety of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) submitted to oral treatment with 500μg of zafirlukast/Kg of body weight during chronic inflammation, through the implantation of round glass coverslips in the subcutaneous tissue.
