Antimicrobial effect of pyomelanin extracted from pseudomonas aeruginosa

Pigmented bacterial isolates was isolated from various environmental samples. Vitek identification analysis and PCR analysis of 16SrRNA amplifying gene showed that this bacteria was related to Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Pigments was extracted with 1N HCl and ethanol. After extraction, pigment was subjected to various chemical analysis including thin layer chromatography, spectrophotometric analysis and gas chromatography –Mass spectrophotometric analysis.

Generic model for the productivity improvement by the application of theory of constraints

Productivity improvement is inevitable to any firm in order to remain competitive in market place. It enables the firm to meet its obligations to workers and share holders. Various techniques have been proposed for productivity improvement which focus at the core level on the improvement of the process by research and development and physical means of productivity. However, such techniques demand substantial investment in highly trained technical staff and need infrastructures such as plant and equipment.

Total reflection investigation with negative and near zero magnetic permeability along the visible light range and all negative values of magnetic permeability along the blue light range with total reflection

In this study, total reflection through a slab of vacuum and mercury nano-particle is achieved with negative and near zero magnetic permeability. It is shown that this new design of metamaterial act as an excellent reflector which could be used in many applications. This paper also shows that this optical mirror has negative values for magnetic permeability in the blue range of the visible light and total reflection in this range is achieved.

A review: hybrid power generation system using vertical axis wind turbine and solar energy

In recent era, as the energy crisis is going on increasing day by day and high global emission of polluting gases all over the world, it is inevitable to find the new energy resources. The need of energy of primitive man were limited in the form of food which he derived by eating plants and animals. But after the industrial revolution human need more and more energy for multiple tasks. After 1700 AD, the man started using the coal in large quantities along with oil and natural gas after 1870 AD.

Experimental investigation of temperature in residential neighbourhood canyons of Nagpur

This paper tries to address the parameter that affect the temperature in the building canyons of residential neighborhood of Nagpur city. The literature study shows that temperature in building canyon is influenced by neighbourhood geometry and aspect ratio. Experimental investigation by onsite measurements is used to find out the effect of aspect ratio on temperature. The findings reveal that due consideration is required while planning neighbourhoods and designing buildings to minimize the heat gain.
