Problems of third gender in Maharashtra a study from social exclusion to social inclusion

Third gender community in India is an important part of society. Even, law can’t deny their existence. We live in 21st century where human rights are assured and preserved for human beings except the third gender. Despite all constitutional guarantees, the Third gender is even denied to have their basic rights like Right to Dignity, Personal Liberty, Education, Freedom of expression etc. The present research paper deals with the problems, Third gender face in a developing country like India.

The role of team leadership on critical thinking skills – a case study of business major students using a role-play simulation at the American University in the emirates (aue)

Team leadership is essential component employers seek in candidates. This study brings to the forefront a unique discovery showing the impact of team leadership on critical thinking while conducting negotiation role-play activities. The findings highlight the importance of team leadership and how it helps improving critical thinking skills. The nature of this study is qualitative and conducted on graduate level students majoring in business studies at the College of Business Administration at the American University of the Emirates in the United Arab Emirates.

The present study aimstoestimate the prevalence and the indicators of congenital syphilis in the North, in the period from 2010 to 2018. Descriptive, retrospective study, quantitative approach, like literature review on congenital syphilis in the North. The secondary data were recorded on the banks of the Information System of reportable diseases and Mortality information system, during the period from 2010 to 2018.

Sustainability of unemployment insurance policy in Brazil: contribution of human resource management and accounting

Unemployment insurance, as a social policy instrument, aims at reducing, for a period, the ordeal of families when the family income provider loses their job. In this context, we discuss the results of a research on the unemployment insurance policy in Brazil from 2006 to 2012, whose purpose is to investigate its effectiveness and sustainability in placing workers back in the labor market.

Effect of disturbance in dynamic processes controlled by tuning techniques based on models

The importance of security for process control, product generation, utilities, etc., is undeniable. This study evaluates the ability of a PID controller (Proportional-Integral- Derivative) tuned with two different model-based techniques to reestablish its performance after suffering a disturbance. The experiments were performed in a process simulation plant, which consisted in temperature control by indirect heating, wherein the system was modelled and dynamically tuned by two different models: IMC (Internal Model Control) and Direct Synthesis.

Spatial distribution of undergraduate courses in biomedicine in brazil

Introduction: The presence of Higher Education Institutions triggers an economic-social change that modifies the productive structures of the regions where they are located. In the year 2000, 13 undergraduate courses in Biomedicine were described according to the National Institute of Educational Research Anísio Teixeira. Objective: To systematize the Institutions of Higher Education that have undergraduate courses of the Biomedicine Undergraduate Courses in Brazil through the localization indicators.

Paragominas: from deforested city to a model of sustainability in the amazon

Migration and the creation of highways directly interfered with the deforestation of the Amazon, which resulted in the expansion of agriculture and cattle raising, which is the region's largest source of economy. In fact, in 2008, Paragominas was named by the Ministry of the Environment as one of the most deforested cities. Thus, a city council met to create a Zero Deforestation Pact, which is in the creation and implementation of the Green Municipalities Program. Soon, the municipality was the pioneer to get off the dirty list of deforestation.

Suicidal idea in students of the final series of fundamental education and middle school: prevalence and associated variables

Suicide is reported as one of the leading causes of death in young and middle-aged individuals and is therefore considered a public health problem. This study aimed to measure the prevalence of suicidal intention in students of the final grade of elementary and high school in a public school. The sample consisted of 337 students from the final grades of elementary and high school. The students answered a questionnaire containing the Suicidal Ideation Scale. Data collection was done in classrooms of the public school evaluated.

Inter-chiefdoms relationships and traditional diplomacy among the english-speaking mbo chiefdoms of southwest Cameroon 1905-2001: A historical survey

Basically, this paper examines traditional diplomacy in the Mbo region. It demonstrates that Mbo people never lived in isolation, but always in communion with each other. The study shows how the leaders and peoples of the various chiefdoms interacted in the twentieth century by living, working and trading together. It shows that cooperation and conflicts characterized the relationships among and between the chiefdoms and that through diplomatic methods, conflicts were always resolved and harmonious relations reestablished.

The influence of leadership styles on motivation in work teams

Leadership is a topic that has been discussed in the scientific community and in organizations, so that they need leaders to achieve their goals. Therefore, they value leaders who have the ability to develop the potential of their leaders. Therefore, the objective of this study was to verify the influence of leadership styles on the motivation of work teams, as well as to identify the predominant leadership style of leaders and managers.
