Spatial distribution of tuberculosis cases in a priority Brazilian northeast municipality for control of the disease

The remarkable relation that tuberculosis has with social conditions demands anunderstanding of the dynamics of this aggravation and its occurrence in the territory through geospatial analyses. In this sense, the objective of the present study was to describe the spatial distribution of tuberculosis cases in a municipality in the Northeast Region of Brazil. This is an ecological study considering all cases of tuberculosis reported in the Disease Notification System from 2006 to 2015. The exploratory analysis ofcases included thekernel density estimationand spatial analysis of the area.

Contemporary issues and teacher education programme

Researcher has tried to explore that contemporary issues in Indian education why teach to teacher trainees in educational institution. Today is need to all teachers ( inservice/ preservice) have proper knowledge about Indian concerns of education and how many attempts has done for educational improvement of children. Keeping all critic of education Justice verma committee have thinked with pain that our teacher education institutes not prepare the teacher for Indian society by they produce salesman only.

Study on nitrite determination by spectrophotometric method and its application in analysis of mekomg river water in laos

Spectrophotometric method using Griess – Ilosvay reagent was established for determination of nitrite in water samples. The standard equation was determined. It is A = (0,71 ± 0,03).CN + (0,02 ± 0,01) with R2 = 0.99842. By this equation the values of LOD, LOQ of this method were calculated, where: LOD = 0.018 mg/L; LOQ = 0.062 mg/L. This method was used to determining nitrite concentration in Mekong river at Vientiane, Laos.

Efficient reversible hiding technique based on pairwise prediction error expansion

Being reversible, the original digital content can be completely restored after data extraction. Prediction-error expansion (PEE) is an important method in reversible watermarking. PEE can embed large payload with low distortion into digital images. PEE is advantageous use in image redundancy usually gives better performance. But, the correlations between prediction-errors are not regarded and not use in conventional PEE based methods. In PEE, the prediction-errors are expanded and modified individually for embedding the data.

Review on outlier-tolerant data processing with applications

Owing to the complexity of sampling and running environment, abnormal data such as outliers as well as patchy outliers widely appear in a variety of data from engineering to economic fields. These abnormal data have remarkable bad impact on parameter statistics, system identification, state monitoring, process control, machine learning, decision analysis, and so on. In order to avoid bad impact from abnormal data, a new idea of outlier-tolerant computation was put forward in just the past two decades.

Employment profile of management graduates/postgraduates in india - an analysis

The paper highlights the employment profile of - management graduates through eight various categories. It has been noticed that the Waiting Period for obtaining first employment for management degree holders was six months. Whereas, the maximum emoluments earned by fresh employed management degree holders were Rs. 92400 per month and minimum were Rs. 2500 per month. On an average, the emoluments earned were Rs. 23000 per month. In case of experienced persons, average emoluments were Rs. 24600.

Pulmonary changes and bronchial hyperresponsiveness in rats subjected to acute acrolein exposure

Acrolein is a toxic substance resulting from cigarette smoke and partial combustion of animal fats and vegetable oils, and mainly used in industry for the production of acrylic acid and plastics. The main forms of human exposure to this substance is through cigarette smoke and car exhaust. Its high toxicity is responsible for many adverse health effects, especially changes in the respiratory system. This study aimed to analyze the changes in lung function and hyperresponsiveness of the smooth muscle of the airways of rats, resulting from acute exposure to acrolein.

Cafeteria diet and obesity: mutagenicity in wistar rats and consequences on female offspring

Besides genetic factors, diet components may contribute to the development of obesity, and it is known that cafeteria diet is characterized by a high caloric intake. Thus, the present study evaluated the mutagenic effects that cafeteria diet exerted on Wistar rats and its consequences on female offspring. Twelve females (generation 1) were separated in control group (CTL) and Cafeteria Diet group (CAF). At 70 days of age, females were mated with non-obese control males.

Anthropometrical indicators and social variables among enderly with hypertension and diabetes

This study aimed at assessing the anthropometrical indicators and social variables among elderly with hypertension and diabetes. It is a transversal, descriptive research with a quantitative approach, carried out in two municipalities in Southwestern Bahia, Brazil, provided with a sample of 180 interviewees. The statistical analysis was carried out by means of the Chi-Squared test. One identified that 65% of the sample hat hypertension diagnosis and 18.3% of diabetes diagnosis.
