Introdução: O recém-nascido (RN) compreende o período de 28 dias após o nascimento, mas durante o nascimento os recém-nascidos podem apresentar complicações, quando ocorre algum tipo de intercorrência é preciso de um acesso venoso mais calibroso. Neste momento a equipe decide pelo cateterismo umbilical, sendoideal nesses momentos.

Cuidar na terminalidade: o viver cotidiano do cuidador familiar

O cuidador familiar consiste em uma pessoa, no meio familiar, que assume determinados papéis, entre eles o de cuidador, trazendo para si a incumbência de assumir as tarefas do ente querido que, diante da morbidade, não consegue realizar as atividades diárias. Dessa forma, objetivou-se com este estudo entender o viver cotidiano do cuidador familiar de pessoas em processo de terminalidade no ambiente doméstico. O estudo é do tipo descritivo com uma abordagem qualitativa, realizado com 18 cuidadores familiares cujos pacientes são acompanhados pelo Serviço de Atenção Domiciliar (SAD).

Evaluation of efficacy of various disinfectants in reducing microbial contamination of dental unit water lines

Impact of flow incentive spirometry on the ventilatory muscle function of patients in the elevative abdominal surgery post-operative

The aim of this study was to demonstrate the effectiveness of inspiratory flow incentive on pulmonary function and peripheral muscle strength in postoperative patients after elective abdominal surgery. Methods: Data collection was performed in the immediate postoperative period, with maximal inspiratory (MIP) and expiratory (MEP) pressures using digital manovacuometry. as well as the dynamometer measurement. Satisfaction and body image in the elderly person: An integrative literature review

Regarding issues related to body image, the elderly population presents itself as an object of relevant research, because it has, due to the naturalness of the passage of time, physical and psychological changes that determine the way of observing the own body. Aiming to reflect on the referred problem, the study proposed here aims to investigate the nuances regarding the subject of body image in the elderly that have been discussed in research at the national level, as well as to demonstrate the understandings and conclusions that these research has made it emerge.

The resveratrol effects on human health: The Brazilian overview: An integrative literature review

The purpose of the present study is to interrogate for the panorama regarding the effects of resveratrol in human health that have been established by the latest research within the Brazilian territory. To achieve this goal, we used a literature review in the form of an Integrative Review that could demonstrate these designs. We raise the following question: what aspects and designs regarding the effect of Resveratrol supplementation on human health have appeared in research in the field of health, and what notes have these researches made to emerge within the national scenario?

Profile and consumption or users and psychoactive drug substances and treatment

The present study Aimed to analyze the consumption profile of psychoactive substances by drug users undergoing treatment in the clinic rehabilitation in a medium-sized city in the state of Minas Gerais, pointing out the types of psychoactive substances most consumed correlated to possible risk factors such as age and the number of types of psychoactive substances consumed with the user's length of stay.

Prevalence of oral alterations in newborns of palmas (Brazil)

The aim of this study was to verify the prevalence of oral alterations in newborns and the treatments indicated. It was cross-sectional research, retrospective, that analyzed 9390 of newborns records in the Maternity and Intensive Unit of the Hospital and Maternity Dona Regina (HMDR) in the city of Palmas, Tocantins state, Brazil. Data were collected by a single examiner. In 2016 and 2017 the largest oral alteration found was: Epstein pearl (535), followed by Bonh Nodule (1669), the altered labial frenulum (1621) and ankyloglossia (1405).
