Caracterização do intervalo de atendimento da população masculina em unidade especializada em acidente vascular encefálico

Acidente Vascular Encefálico (AVE) é um problema de saúde pública e que pode acarretar danos irreversíveis ao paciente e provocar impactos socioeconômicos. Caracterizar o intervalo de atendimento da população masculina em unidade especializada em acidente vascular encefálico.Estudo documental, do tipo exploratório com abordagem quantitativa. A coleta de dados foi com base documental nos prontuários durante os meses de outubro a dezembro de 2018. Foi utilizado questionário com perguntas contendo dados sociodemográficos e informações referente ao tempo de atendimento hospitalar do paciente.

Comparison of addition of blood flow restriction training to aerobic training in VO2 MÁX changes in young individuals

The aim of the study is to make a comparison between Aerobic Training with Blood Flow Restriction and Aerobic Training in Vo2max change in young individuals. From a randomized clinical trial, from the study “Physiotherapeutic performance in orthopedic and sports dysfunctions”, approved by the Ethics Committee in Bahia, where sedentary and inactive participants, randomly distributed in two groups, one performs the aerobic training and the other a training with restriction of blood flow to verify the increase in Vo2max.

Enuresis among children with sickle cell anaemia in Port Harcourt

Background: Sickle-cell anaemia (SCA) is the most common inherited haemoglobinopathy affecting the black race and enuresis have been reported to be commoner among children with SCA than those with normal haemoglobin genotype. Aims: The study aims to determine the prevalence of enuresis, its type, risk factors and management methods among children with SCA. Method: This was a cross-sectional study carried out among children with SCA on follow up at the Paediatric Haematology clinic of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital. Conhecimento dos enfermeiros sobre a sae em um hospital privado conveniado ao sus no município de nerópolis-go

Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe nurses' knowledge about SAE in a private hospital in the city of Nerópolis-Go. Methodology: Based on a descriptive methodology qualitative analysis. The research was carried out in a Private Hospital, which was contracted to the SUS in the Municipality of Neropólis-Go, an entity with lucrative assets and also aimed at providing assistance to needy people who need care and who use the Unified Health System). For the analysis of the data the technique of content analysis of Bardin (2011) was used.

Cold pressor test as a predictor of systemic arterial hypertension

Cardiovascular hyper-reactivity to stress has been raised as a predictor of systemic arterial hypertension, a significant risk factor for cardiovascular disease ref]. The cold pressor test is a widely validated test that induces systemic stress by immersing an individual's hand in cold water (0 to 5 °C) over a while and has been used to identify individuals most prone to heart disease early. This review aimed to address the physiological aspects and applicability of the test in the cardiovascular context of studies focused on health.

Effects of exergaming on the quality of life and functional capacity of university students

The objective of this study was to evaluate a training protocol with the use of exergames in university students. Participated of this study 43 university students that were divided into two groups: Control Group and Protocol Group that was submitted to 33 sessions of exergames.The World Health Organization Quality of Life Instrument questionnaire was used as a tool for pre and post-intervention evaluation, a six-minute walk test for functional capacity assessment and anthropometric measures for body mass index calculation.

The playful in the promotion of good hygiene habits to children of a school, located in the municipality of ananindeua, Pará, Brazil

Health and education are areas of formation and execution of knowledge destined for human development, converging in two spheres that implies educational action. This work aimed to promote hygiene habits in children from the fourth year. This action was performed with 17 students from an elementary school, where he presided over an interview, with the activity and practice of removing the paint. Of the total, 100% not colored hands completely. After explaining the correct washing, 76.4% were correctly.

Work process in psychiatric emergency: creating a tool for presentation of service to family caregivers of inpatients

Objective: To present the service of a psychiatric emergency of a referral hospital in the city of Belém-PA to the family caregiver, through the creation of a tool that describes the work process of the place. Method: This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, experience report type, conducted in a reference hospital in psychiatry, cardiology and nephrology of high complexity, in Belém do Pará.

Subclinical pulmonary dysfunction in radiology technicians

Pulmonary function tests are widely used to assess possible injuries associated with radiation exposure. In order to answer the research question, the objective was to analyze the prevalence of subclinical pulmonary dysfunction in radiology technicians. This study is an applied research, with quantitative, descriptive, exploratory and cross-sectional approach. The main findings for the unfolding of this research would be the numbers found correlated with the prevalence of ventilatory disorders.

Brain white matter changespresent in parkinson's disease made visible through magnetic resonance imaging: an integrative review

Background: Parkinson's disease is a degenerative disease in which some brain structures are injured, requiring a technique that can analyze, in detail, grey and white matter in scans. This paper reports an integrative review undertaken to examine the scientific production related to cerebral white matter changes resulting from Parkinson's disease as identified through magnetic resonance imaging. Possible methods that can indicate disease progression in a clinically meaningful way.
