O conceito de cuidados em saúde da mulher fica muito restrito à saúde reprodutiva, e não aos cuidados do processo saúde-doença, levando ao que determinam fatores socioeconômicos, culturas e históricos. A atenção integral a saúde da mulher diz respeito aos processos de promoção, proteção, assistência e recuperação. A evolução de uma lesão de cérvix de baixo grau como NIC 1 e NIC 2 para uma neoplasia/carcinoma invasivo pode acontecer em uma década ou mais anos. É tempo suficiente para intervenção que poderá mudar o curso da vida desta mulher.

This study investigated how operating conditions in convective drying in fixed bed influences affects yield and composition of the essential oils of sacaca (Croton cajucara Benth) and alfavaca (Ocimum micranthum Willd). The essential oil yields were highest (0.48% w/w for sacaca and 4.66% w/w for alfavaca) with 100 g of moist leaves, 0.47 m/s of drying air velocity and 60 °C of drying air temperature. Low temperatures and low loads of wet material (2.19 mol/L) produced the highest content of linalool, a major compound of sacaca essential oil.

This study aimed to evaluate the effects of acute babassu mesocarp flour (BM) supplementation on aerobic capacity, oxidative stress, and muscle damage in recreational runners. 14 men (26,4±8,3 years) were randomly assigned and ingested one single dose of (BM) and maltodextrin (PLA) supplements and performed the 3200m running test. There was a 7-days washout period between each supplementation. Biochemical parameters such as serum glucose, malondialdehyde, creatine kinase, and lactate dehydrogenase were evaluated.

Objetivou-se analisar a influência da sanitização de sementes com hipoclorito de sódio (NaClO) na germinação de sementes e qualidade de mudas de Delonix regia. O delineamento do experimento foi inteiramente casualizado, com os parâmetros analisados por meio do arranjo fatorial 2 x 2 + 1 tratamento adicional, sendo duas doses de NaClO (2,5% e 5,0%) combinadas com dois tempos (5 min e 10 min) mais o tratamento controle.

Amylases, which are hydrolytic enzymes commonly used in the textile industry, can be quite effective in the biodegradation of dyes. This study aims to produce amylases with broad stability and ability to discolor of dyes used in the industry.

Playing is one of the most important aspects in the child's life, being an important tool in the process of reducing pain caused by hospitalization. Thus, the playful resource favors the child's social, emotional and intellectual development. In addition, it reduces stress, fear and anxiety caused by hospitalization. Thus, the objective of this work was to carry out an integrative literature review on playing with hospitalized children.

O objetivo do estudo foi analisar o perfil clínico epidemiológico e a distribuição espacial do tracoma em escolares do primeiro ao nono ano da rede municipal de ensino de Caxias-MA. Foram avaliados 6.211 escolares da rede de ensino entre os meses de agosto a novembro de 2016. O diagnóstico dos casos foi essencialmente clínico, sendo realizado também para os casos positivos, o exame laboratorial Imunofluorescência Direta - IFD, e o Geoprocessamento.

This research aimed to verify the bactericidal action of a bioactive product, the base of the essential oils of the plants Rosemary-pepper (Lippia menosides), and Citronella (Cymbopogon winterianus) on the bacterium Escherichia coli. The work consisted of two stages, the first characterizes the bioactivated and the second of determining its bactericidal concentration.
