Objective: to characterize the epidemiology of pediatric occurrences attended by a mobile emergency service, including age group, sex andtype of occurrence, identification of symptoms and diseases and association of variables. Methods: the research is quantitative descriptive, carried out using data from attendance records in 2018, collected with a structured instrument and analyzed statistically. Results: there was a high number of clinical events (56.6%) and a higher incidence in school children (44.8%) and males (55.7%).

Resumo: Diabetes Mellitus tem sido considerado como um importante problema de saúde pública da atualidade. É classificado em tipo 1, 2, gestacional, além de outros tipos. No caso do diabetes diagnosticado durante a gestação, é fundamental se realizar o rastreamento e a confirmação diagnóstica em época oportuna e o mais precocemente possível. Objetivo: avaliar a incidência da diabetes gestacional entre mulheres atendidas nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde do Munícipio de Conceição do Araguaia – PA.

Background: Patient’s positive perception after periodontal treatment is one of the main factors for the success of the periodontal therapy. The aim of this longitudinal study was to investigate the perceptions of subjects regarding nonsurgical periodontal treatment over a period of 1 year. Materials and methods: Twenty-five subjects (42.14 ± 4.65 years) with moderate to severe periodontitis completed a questionnaire at two different times after a nonsurgical periodontal treatment: 30 days and 390 days.

The objective of this study was to analyze the intention to purchase unconventional products - organic / agroecological - in open markets in Iporá-Goiás, investigating the existence or not of a consumer market for these products. Such a survey contributes to the identification of repressed demand, which can potentially be met by family farmers in the municipality. The research is classified as descriptive and exploratory, with the use of interviews as a methodological procedure to 60 consumers of vegetables at different fairs in the municipality.

Introduction: It is estimated that the number of dental implants used in the United States increased more than 10 times between 1983 and 2002 and another five times between 2000 and 2005. More than one million dental implants are performed each year. In this sense, one of the main causes of osteopenia in women over 60 years of age is an estrogen deficiency.

Introduction: The endless quest for harmony of the smile has indeed led to great advances in Dentistry. Developmental abnormalities frequently occur, particularly diastemas. During the treatment of these abnormalities, such as the pathological labial frenum, some obstacles may be encountered, which may not only favor their appearance, but may also make it difficult to establish the prognosis of the case if the frenectomy is not correctly performed. Aim: The aim of this study was to present a clinical case of maxillary labial frenectomy by means of th Z-plasty technique.

Despite all the progress made in reducing air pollutant emissions over the last decades, air pollution still represents one of the major environmental problems in urban centers. Air quality can be assessed at local, regional, national and international levels by estimating emissions, using mathematical models and measuring the environmental concentrations of major pollutants using physicochemical methods. Through such measures, it is possible to verify whether standards and limit values for air pollutant concentrations, established or recommended by national governments.

The Brazilian construction company Odebrecht took over the construction work for Goiânia’s Santa Genoveva Airport in 2003, through a consortium with Via Engenharia. The airport was only opened in 2016, however, after several stoppages due to irregularities uncovered by the Federal Audit Court (TCU) and the Federal Public Ministry in Goiás (MPF/GO).

Objetivou-se com o presente estudo analisar a comunicação efetiva e a cultura de segurança do paciente no centro cirúrgico para garantia de uma assistência qualificada. Objetivou-se discorrer sobre a evolução dos sistemas de produção, buscando analisar de forma empírica quais as influências do Volvismo que podem ser identificadas nas organizações contemporâneas e de que maneira elas podem vir a contribuir com melhorias, tanto na qualidade como no aumento da produtividade nas organizações, em presença de implementos atuais como a indústria ‘4.0’.
