Perfil epidemiológico de idosos internados por emergências clínicas no interior do amazonas
In developing countries, every person aged 60 years or older is considered to be an elderly person, although it extends to 65 years in developed nations. The objective of this study was to describe the clinical and epidemiological profile of the hospitalizations of elderly people in an emergency situation in the municipality of Coari. It is a cross-sectional, descriptive and exploratory study. Data collection took place between September 10 and 21, 2018, in the statistical sector of the Coari Regional Hospital.
