Comparative palynological study for the species of the genera anastatica, anchonium, aubreita, barbarea and coronopus in Iraq

Pollen morphology of 7 species belonging to 5 genera of the tribes Euclideae, Hesperideae, Mathioleae, Arabideae and Lepidieae from Brassicaceae family were investigated using light and scanning electron microscope. The study showed that the pollen grains are a stenopalynous have tricolporate to tetracolporate in Anchonium elichrysifolium. The ornamentation is reticulate and the shape is spheroidal in equatorial view and oblate to spheroidal in polar view. The study reported also little differences in quantitative characters between all species studied.

Efficient protocol for micropropagation of tylophora indica (burm f.) merill an endangered medicinal plant through nodal explants

The present study deals with an efficient in vitro propagation of an endangered medicinally important Tylophora indica (Burm f.) Merill well known in traditional medicine for the treatment of asthma, bronchitis, whooping cough and dysentery. Micropropagation of T.indica was carried out using various combinations and concentrations of growth hormones among which best result was observed with Adenine sulphate (2.0mg/l) in combination with BAP(1.0mg/l).A callus free multiple shoot formation was observed with the above combination.

Simultaneous method development and validation of amlodipine besylate and hydrochlorothiazide in human plasma by lc-ms/ms

A rapid, simple, selective and sensitive LC-MS/MS method was developed for the determination of Amlodipine Besylate and Hydrochlorothiazide in human plasma using Amlodipine D4 and HCTZ 15N213C D2 as internal standard (IS). The method was developed with turbid ion spray (TIS) in the positive ion and multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode. The mobile phase was Water: Methanol (05:95) with 1 ml Ammonia Solution. Chromatographic separation was achieved on CHIRALCEL OZ-3R, 4.6 x 150 mm, column with a flow rate of 1.0ml/min.
