Associativism has followed human history since its birth. Based on this, the present study aims to analyze the evolution of this practice from its institutional emergence in the Roman and Greek context until the present-day in Brazil, which constitutes the locus of research of the authors of the present analysis. Methodologically, the study can be characterized as a documentary and bibliographic study, with qualitative analysis. Regarding the objective, the study can be characterized as exploratory.

It is noticed that civil engineering is still a very empirical science compared to other engineering. Still predominates in construction sites in Brazil, constructive methods very similar or equal to those practiced for centuries. However, increasing competition in the construction industry has made to seek more effective techniques and options with better money. The objective of this study was to search the literature for the use of therapeutic toys in nurses' work in Pediatric Emergency Units. This is an integrative literature review. The databases chosen for the search were: Google academic, Lilacs and Scielo.

Endodontics was modified due to technological advances, and the implementation of the technology allowed previous treatments in multiple sessions to be performed in a single clinical visit. But despite the possibility of shortening the time of dental intervention, many professionals are still reluctant about Endodontic therapy in a single visit, mainly due to the possible appearance of postoperative pain. Objective: This study was undertaken to evaluate efficacy and safety of hemorrhoidectomy using CO2 laser.

In the last decades the introduction of new integrative therapeutics for women with signs of depression becomes a relevant presupposition, since it conditions the physical and mental balance in times of crisis. This study aimed to describe the importance of nursing notes in decreasing hospital glosses, through a bibliographic survey conducted on the Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences databases (www.lilacs.bvsalud.org) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (www.scielo.org), with publications in the vernacular, from 2007 to 2014, and the sample being composed of 8 publications.
