Impacto da kinesio tape versus treinamento muscular inspiratório em pacientes asmáticos: Um ensaio clinico randomizado

A asma é uma doença crônica comum e heterogênea, caracterizada por episódios recorrentes de falta de ar, no qual os sintomas podem ocorrer de forma contínua ou intermitente. O tratamento farmacológico ainda é o mais indicado, porem ações não farmacológicas como o treinamento muscular inspiratórios e a estabilização torácica através do uso do Kinesio Tape estão sendo utilizadas para melhoria das funções pulmonares e da capacidade funcional de pacientes asmáticos.

Area deprivation and cardiovascular risk

Socioeconomic status (SES) strongly impacts cardiovascular health. Increasing evidence demonstrated area deprivation is an independent indicator of cardiovascular risks such as increased prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors and higher cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality rates. Intervention at area-level of SES could achieve better effects in reducing risk factors and improving access to cardiac facilities.

Concept paper on healthy aging

Aging begins before birth and continues throughout life at different rates, in different races for different individuals and for different tissues of the body. Explaining why ageing occurs is a solution to the longstanding enigma of the role of senescence in nature and even after half a century of progress, the solution continues to unfold slowly but steadily. The healthcare professionals must prepare themselves to equip the above 50 years citizens to achieve healthy aging in a systematic fashion.

Nursing facing risk management and patient safety in the use of oxygen therapy

The study aimed to know how the protocols related to oxygen therapy are used in the work process of the nursing team with focus on risk and safety management of patients using this therapy. It is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research. The participants were nurses working in clinical, surgical, obstetrical and pediatric hospitalization units of a general hospital. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed according to thematic analysis. The results showed that there is no standardization of oxygen therapy practices.

Methodology: A qualitative study was carried out with 19 women working in clandestine mining sites in the French Amazon rainforest, who were predominantly aged between 30-39 years. A non-directive interview was conducted, recorded, and transcribed in its entirety. Data were analyzed through content analysis.

Educação permanente para enfermeiros da atenção básica: um instrumento de aprendizado e melhoria do cuidado

Objetivo deste artigo foi descrever e refletir sobre experiência da participação e desenvolvimento da educação permanente para o enfermeiro no âmbito da atenção básica. Trata-se de um estudo de caráter exploratório, descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, na modalidade relato de experiência, realizado com 40 enfermeiros atuantes na Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF), na cidade de João Pessoa, estado da Paraíba.

Reception experience precipitating immune whey for use in medicolegal practice

Immunization of rabbits for reception heteroimmune precipitating whey is spent. As an antigene for immunization of rabbits are used: a mix of whey of blood of the person, horned livestock, a bird, a horse and 10 % a formalin solution in the ratio 1:1, in volume of weight of the rabbit providing the high specific immune answer at 90 % of animals of 1 ml/kg. Received heteroimmune precipitating whey is strictly specific and high-sensitivity, providing their application in medicolegal practice.
