The Saudi medical resident’s attitude, knowledge and barriers towards the use clinical practice guidelines

Objective: To describe the medical resident’s attitude, knowledge and barriers towards the use CPGS at KFSH&RC. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to medical residents. The questionnaire hasfour parts: demographic characteristics, practitioners' knowledge, attitudes and barriers to CPGS. Results: The total number is 71 residents with a response rate of 100%. The mean age is 26.83 ± 2.1.54.9% of participants are used CPGS. In a scale of 5 the most barriers are lack of motivation to change 2.3 ± 1.1.

Risk factors for coronary artery disease: An integrative review of literature

Objective: to present a reflection about the risk factors that lead to the onset of coronary artery disease. Method: Descriptive and exploratory study, conducted through integrative review of literature. The survey was conducted in the month of March 2019, where he researched the following descriptors: risk factors; Coronary artery disease. The initial sample was of 69 articles, however, after the application of the exclusion criteria, obtained a sample of 15 articles where only 05 were considered for this review, by address in more depth the subject of this study.

Background: Celiac disease (CD), considered as a common chronic and genetic disease that caused by hypersensitivity to gluten. Failure to thrive (FTT), is one of three major clinical features of CD during childhood. Objectives: The current study aimed to determine the frequency of celiac disease in children with malnutrition. To assess and compare the HLA geno typing of those has positive serology for celiac disease with other studies.

Impact of qualitative monetary policy on performance of deposit money banks in Nigeria

This study examined the impact of monetary policy tools on the performance of deposit money banks in Nigeria. The study sought to evaluate the effect of money supply on the performance of Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria; the significant impact of monetary policy rate on Deposit Money Banks' Performance; to investigate the influence of Cash reserve ratio on Deposit Money Banks' Performance. The study is predicated on the Classical theory, Keynesian theory and Neo-Classical theory. The secondary data were obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria Statistical Bulletin.

Physical and mental health of workers in red ceramics: poor working conditions shows precariousness

The article presented is a study about the red ceramic industry workers in the town of Sangão, located in the south of Santa Catarina state. In this research, we approach, by means of interviews and bibliographical research, situations that denote the health of the ceramic industry worker being strongly affected by the labor activities to which they are submitted. In providing a voice to the workers, the study denounces the precarious conditions of these individuals, relegating them to a life of abandonment, physical incapacity and lack of hope.

Effect of project-based teaching methods on business education students’ academic performance in principles of accounting in universities in South-West, Nigeria

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of project-based teaching methods on business education students’ academic performance in principles of accounting in universities in South-west, Nigeria. The study has two purposes, research questions and hypotheses. Quasi-experimental pre- Test post-test control group design was adopted for the study. The population of the study was 370 Business Education students offering principles of accounting in universities in the south-west.
