Content analysis of mycology in high school biology textbooks used at the nossa senhora da conceição state college (censc) in the municipality of Miguel Calmon / Ba

The aim of this paper is to analyze the content and illustrations of fungi in high school biology textbooks used at the Nossa Senhora da Conceição State High School (CENSC) in Miguel Calmon /BA. The analysis of the three textbooks used by the high school students (1st, 2nd and 3rd years) of CENSC plus two collections, regarding the presence of the theme Fungi, having as evaluation criteria: number of pages, characterization of the fungi, importance of fungi, fungal-related images, and additional parts for teachers and students.

Prevalence of suicidal risks in undergraduate students: are we facing a public health problem?

Objective: Admission to a university is a period of significant change and exposure to stressors that may raise emotional vulnerabilities and in some cases lead to suicide risk. The aim of the present study was identify the prevalence of behaviors of suicidal rich in undergraduate students of a municipal institution of higher education. Methods: A descriptive-exploratory cross-sectional study, carried out which 300 undergraduate students in the courses of a Higher Education Institution, Catanduva, Brazil.

Hyperuricemia associated with microalbuminuria - what are the possible links?

Abstract: Goals Hyperuricemia and microalbuminuria are considered cardiovascular risk factors. The objective of this work was to determine the likely mechanisms of this association and to suggest the possibility of a relevant relationship between the two anomalies. Patients and Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study from January to December 2017. Patients with vascular and metabolic risks were followed up in outpatient nephrology consultations or in hospital in the nephrology department of the razzaville University Hospital.

The present work intends to investigate the motivation of the Administrative Technical Servants in Education (TAE) of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará, Itapipoca campus, aiming to detect the motivational aspects in the labor activities and their impacts on the objectives of the administration, diagnosing the motivational level at work as well as the quality of life in that researched environment.

Microbiological quality of lettuce irrigated with treated wastewater

It is necessary to search for alternative sources of water where the use of potable water is not required. The reuse of treated domestic effluent is an alternative for crop irrigation. This research was conducted using a complete randomized block design in a 3 x 3 factorial scheme with five replications, in a protected environment at the Federal University of Sergipe.

Benefits of physical exercise on type 2 diabetes mellitus: a review study

Due to the advancement of science and technology, through studies, man can diagnose and prevent various diseases, and because of this it is possible to increase lifeexpectancy. Physical exercise has been increasingly recognized as an alternative form, a non-pharmacological treatment of diseases. Diabetes Mellitus has been presented as one of the factors that most trigger deaths, among other symptoms that completely change the lives of its patients.

A realização da técnica de medida da pressão arterial no paciente grande queimado, especialmente quando há queimaduras de membros superiores, é um desafio para a equipe de enfermagem. Dessa maneira, o estudo objetiva avaliar o conhecimento da equipe de enfermagem sobre os locais alternativos para medidada pressão arterial em paciente grande queimado. Trata-se de estudo transversal, quantitativo, descritivo e exploratório realizado com profissionais em hospital público no Município de Campina Grande, no período de março a abril de 2018.

The basic psychological need scale (bps) – construct and predictive validity among middle school students with the incorporation of the novelty in the polish context

The content of this article focuses on the construct validity of the Basic Psychological Needs Scale (BPS) within middle school students in Poland. The assessment of students' level of fulfilment of psychological needs can be a powerful tool in enhancing and understanding students' functioning in the school environment and their psychological growth (Deci and Ryan, 2000; Ryan and Deci, 2000, 2002). Theoretical consideration is based on Self-determination theory (SDT) by Deci and Ryan (2000). Theoretical viewpoint is the basis of the empirical part of this article.

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and nematofauna in mango plantations (Mangifera indica L. 'Tommy Atkins') produced organically or conventionally in the san Francisco Valley, Brazil

Mango tree is the second most cultivated fruit tree in San Francisco Valley. Nematodes and the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have important roles in the soil can be used to assess its quality. Purpose of this work is to evaluate the nematofauna and AMF in organic and conventional mango plantations. Collection was performed in: organic, conventional farming and Caatinga. The amount of bacteriovoros, omnivores and Helicotylenchus was lower, while fungivores were higher in the conventional cultivation area. Mycorrhizal colonization and density of AMF spores did not differ between areas.
