The state of Tocantins develops a long annual period of low rainfall, with greater dominance of the mass of hot and dry air in the months of June, July and August, associated with the increase in forest fires, which becomes a common element in the landscape. The incidence of fires in the Brazilian territory presents a period of greater intensification in this season, especially in the states where the formation predominant plant is that of the Cerrado (savanna) biome in its territorial limits, as is the case of Tocantins.

The study reports the experience of developing a permanent education activity on care for preterm newborns (PTNB) to health professionals in the hospital context. Descriptive study with a qualitative approach, such as an experience report about a permanent education activity developed by multiprofessional residents of Child and Adolescent Health Care and carried out with multiprofessional teams from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Intermediate Care Unit (UCI) neonates of a reference maternity hospital in the state of Paraíba.

A adolescência é o período no qual o jovem descobre novos saberes e desperta para novas curiosidades podendo estes adotarem comportamentos de vulnerabilidade levando-os ao adoecimento. Este estudo teve por objetivo mensurar a prevalência de vulnerabilidades em adolescentes escolares no município de Caxias-MA. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, exploratório, transversal com abordagem quantitativa dos dados realizado em 24 escolas municipais por meio de questionário estruturado aplicado aos participantes.

Objective: According to the world health organization, the novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) is declared as a pandemic on 30th January 2020 and is considered to be highly contagious concerning the public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC). The novel coronavirus emerged asan outbreak in China which was followed by other 29 countries.

Introduction: Currently, some nutrients have been the target of science due to the relationship they can establish with many chronic diseases, especially obesity. Vitamin D, with prominence, has received great attention for its role in maintaining glucose homeostasis and in regulating the inflammatory pathways characteristic of obese individuals. Objective: This study aimed to associate vitamin D concentrations with inflammatory markers in obese women.

Healthcare is a sensitive domain and patient care lie in the hands of several people. It is often noticed that in healthcare sector, where patient care is top priority, employees do have difference of opinion among themselves and do not get involve with each other’s work and find fault with others. Nurses are held accountable as they spend maximum time with patients to deliver nursing care. Mostly beginners are prone to errors. A study found that nurses who go through successful team building efforts are more satisfied with their professional work.

Objetivo: Analisar as evidências científicas sobre o uso da auriculoterapia no enfretamento da síndrome de burnout. Método: Estudo de revisão integrativa, buscou-se estudos nas bases de dados pesquisadas: Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), PUBMED, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Web of Science, SciVerse Scopus (SCOPUS), PEDro, Pepsic e PsycINFO. Os descritores em português foramesgotamento profissional, auriculoterapia e em inglês foram: Burnout Professional; auriculotherapy.

The number of cases of Visceral Leishmaniasis-HIV coinfection has increased, and the association between the two infections is already considered an emerging problem. The aim was to describe the clinical and epidemiological profile of cases of coinfected VL-HIV in Brazil. This is a descriptive study of confirmed cases of VL-HIV co-infection, notified in Brazil, in the years 2007 to 2018. The variables studied were: date of notification; age; sex; race / color; schooling; Region; HIV coinfection and case evolution.

O coronavírus SARS-CoV-2, anteriormente denominado de 2019-nCoV,é o patógeno causador da Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave do Coronavírus 2, amplamente difundida como COVID-19 e possui uma disseminação extremamente rápida, forçando a aplicação de novas políticas públicas para seu enfrentamento. Diversas técnicas de predição de caso futuros de contágio e óbitos foram apresentadas em diferentes regiões do planeta.

Objetivou-se avaliar o perfil de vítimas de violência contra a mulher, tipos de violência, perfil do agressor e verificar associações estatísticas entre características das vitimadas e variáveis relacionadas à violência. Trata-se de estudo descritivo, documental retrospectivo, com abordagem quantitativa, realizado em delegacia da mulher em município brasileiro com 254 registros. Os dados foram analisados com estatística descritiva e inferencial por meio do Teste Quiquadrado e Exato de Fisher, com p<0,05 para valores significativos. A pesquisa foi aprovada sob CAAE n.
