How honest leaders give up controlling the corrupt behaviors of deceptive juniors? – a game theoretical approach to study the corrupt behaviors of insider middlemen
This Bayesian game examines the situation where honest leadership gives-up controlling the corrupt behaviors of their juniors who create imperfect information for personal gain. By applying theoretical inputs from the game theory, this work has developed a mathematical model that can be subjected to further empirical testing. The model suggests that anti-corruption interventions must factor the constraints that restrict the efforts of leadership in controlling corruption.
