Sexuality involves all human actions, which means to understand such concept differently from those offered by biology and anthropology. Annie Proulx’s short story, Brokeback Mountain was an icon of male homosexual identity even before its film’s adaptation. As language constitutes reality, the representation of what we are is evoked through our discourses. The dialogue between psychoanalysis and linguistics constitute the methodology of this study.

Este estudo tem como objetivo avaliar a maturidade tecnológica da plataforma de computação quântica Q System One, projetada e disponibilizada ao público pela IBM, por meio da escala QTRL, criada pelo JülichSupercomputing Centre. Para tal, por meio de revisão teórica, buscou-se analisar as definições, vantagens e desvantagens da escala TRL, originalmente proposta pela NASA, bem como da computação quântica. Também foi realizada pesquisa bibliográfica nas bases Scopus e Web of Science em busca de trabalhos relacionados à tecnologia Q System One.

A obesidade vem se tornando uma das maiores aflições da saúde pública por sua relação direta com doenças crônicas não transmissíveis. Em algumas pesquisas a Curcuma longa L. tem-se mostrado eficaz para o tratamento de doenças inflamatórias. O objetivo desse estudo é a associação benéfica da Curcuma longa L. a uma alimentação saudável no tratamento da obesidade. Foi realizada uma revisão de literatura com apoio da análise documental de Bardin. Os descritores utilizados para busca de literaturas foram: [obesidade], [cúrcuma longa], [alimento funcional] e [inflamação].

The objective of this study is to evaluate termite attacks and damages in corossol orchards in M'Brimbo (Southern Côte d'Ivoire). Sampling was done on 538 corossol trees using the Transect method over an area of 5000 m2. The work focused on the collection of termites at the level of the litter and the trunks of trees up to 1.5 m in height. Then, the damages caused on corossol plantation were evaluated. The results showed that the primary forest contained more diverse termite population with 15 species compared to the corossol plantation (8 species).

A pandemia do COVID-19 gerou movimentação nunca vista antes no cenário da educação. Tal situação gerou necessidades de mudanças e desafios enormes a todos os atores envolvidos. Em tempos ditos normais já sobram motivos para gerar prejuízo à qualidade de vida e a saúde mental do estudante, porém o contexto atual de pandemia é muito mais preocupante.

O cenário atual apresenta, cotidianamente, novas ferramentas tecnológicas, que auxiliam e que permitem dar maior significado ao processo educacional. Nesse contexto, destacamos, principalmente, as tecnologias baseadas em Inteligência Artificial (IA), que são capazes de interpretar, estruturar e cruzar dados, gerando predições com as informações analisadas, podendo, ainda, realizar inferências automáticas e interação com os usuários.

The purpose of this article is to evaluate the use of software available in mobile application to stimulate the learning of concepts of computational thinking and cognitive performance of pediatric patients. Using a didactic sequence for the creation of games and animations with the ScratchJr tool, we analyzed the created artifacts and interviewed patients to verify the use of tools related to the concepts of computational thinking. To assess intellectual capacity, the WISC-III scale was applied before and after the workshops.

Introdução: O Transtorno do Espectro Autista é definido como uma síndrome comportamental que compromete o desenvolvimento motor e psiconeurológico dificultando a cognição, a linguagem e a interação social. Assim a Tecnologia Assistiva apoia o aprendizado e podem contribuir para garantir uma vida social independente. O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a importância dos dispositivos de autoajuda na vida do indivíduo com Transtorno do Espectro Autista e seus familiares. Materiais e Métodos: Pesquisa do tipo quantitativa e analítica.

Os indicadores de pobreza e desigualdade no Brasil são nódoas históricas na realidade brasileira. Os quase 400 anos de economia escravagista e a desigualdade da organização fundiária são fatores agravantes, que contribuíram para solidificar a realidade da pobreza no cenário brasileiro. Como consequência,verifica-se a grande massa de desempregados como fato constante no Brasil e o elevado o númerode trabalhos precários.

The objective was to describe the process of developing and validating an instrument to assess the quality of Health Literacy regarding Periodontal Condition among people with Diabetes (LPCD).It is a methodological study conducted in a sample for construct validation of 129 people with diabetes (16 people per item) who answered eight questions, through an interview.The content validity had the participation of 10 judges and the reliability was estimated by the Kappa test. Structural validity, on the other hand, was estimated via Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA).
