The purpose of this article is to evaluate the use of software available in mobile application to stimulate the learning of concepts of computational thinking and cognitive performance of pediatric patients. Using a didactic sequence for the creation of games and animations with the ScratchJr tool, we analyzed the created artifacts and interviewed patients to verify the use of tools related to the concepts of computational thinking. To assess intellectual capacity, the WISC-III scale was applied before and after the workshops. Participants demonstrated learning of computational thinking concepts and improved performance on the WISC-III scale result.
