Marital satisfaction as predictor of general wellbeing of Pregnant Women

The general wellbeing of pregnant women which is being influenced by several factors is a variable of interest to health researchers and health providers. This study examined marital satisfaction as a predictor of general wellbeing of pregnant women in Benue state. An ex-post facto design was used to carry out the study. Three hundred and seventy (370) pregnant women, Otukop (123 (33.2%), Markudi 157 (42.42%) and Katsina- Ala 90 (24.3%) were purposely sampled respectively. Their mean age is 1.63 and their standard deviation is 0.48.

Mathematics-Phobia with reference to attitude towards Mathematics Among school Students

The objective of the study is to explore the level of mathematics-phobia with selected attributes and to explore how mathematics-phobiapossesses impact over those attributes atthe school level with a sample group of students from government and/orgovernment-sponsored schools in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Cluster sampling technique, followed by the stratified random sampling technique, was applied to collect data by administering two sets of standardized scales concerning the variables. By nature, the data were quantitative and those were analysed through ANOVA.

Evaluation of bond Strength of soft liner on pmma after physical and chemical Surface Treatments: An In-Vitro Study

Aim: To evaluate and compare the effectiveness of physical and chemical agents on tensile bond strength of soft liner to the PMMA. Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the effect of Diode laser and Ethyl acetate treatments on the bond strengths of acrylic resin to silicon liners. Materials and methods: Heat-polymerized acrylic resin (Acralyn-H) was bonded to silicone softliner material (GC Reline II Soft) to create control specimens (n=22), Diode laser treatment (n=22), and Ethyl acetate treatment (n=22). Silicone liner was polymerized on resin specimens.

A evolução da internet e do e-commerce transformaram a forma como os consumidores interagem com o varejo, tornando essencial compreender seus padrões de comportamento para otimizar estratégias de marketing. O estudo utilizou metodologia quantitativa, com a aplicação de questionários online a 390 consumidores.

This paper examines the intricate relationship between development, state formation, and ethnicity in the South Pacific and Northern Kenya to establish a framework for comparative research. Comparative approach was used to analyse the interaction between state policies, development interventions, and local ethnic identities, elucidating their impact on community resilience and agency Both regions exhibit varied ethnic compositions and historical encounters with colonialism; nonetheless, they markedly diverge in their developmental paths and state formation processes.

Epidemiological and Clinical factors in Hemorrhagic Stroke: A Cross-sectional study in a Reference Hospital

Objective: To analyze the epidemiological profile of patients with hemorrhagic stroke (HS) and its associations with clinical outcomes among patients admitted to a university hospital in Paraná, Brazil. Methods: A cross-sectional study conducted at a university hospital in Paraná between 2018 and 2022, involving 118 patients diagnosed with HS. Sociodemographic, clinical, and comorbidity data were analyzed. Statistical tests such as Chi-Square, ANOVA, and Student's t-test were employed. Results: The mean age was 67 years (±1.19), with an equal distribution between sexes (50%).

This study examines the livelihoods of fishmongers at Dunga Beach on the banks of Lake Victoria in Kisumu County, emphasizing the dual themes of vulnerability and resilience within the framework of economic activities related to fisheries. The study employed qualitative and quantitative methods, such as interviews, surveys, and field observations, to collect data from a diverse sample of 100 fishmongers, who are integral to the local economy and food security, documenting their experiences and strategies amid various stressors.
