A interseção entre a filosofia e a ciência revela como ambas as disciplinas podem se enriquecer mutuamente, fornecendo uma visão holística da percepção da realidade. Este artigo dedica-sea abordar algumas das complexidades da percepção da realidade, considerando o diálogo entre a teoria de "cérebros em um tanque" de Hilary Putnam e a psicologia da percepção.

Sleep Quality Among Adolescents: A Review of Prevalence, Factors, and Interventions

The review study utilizes the current literature on sleep quality among adolescents, including the prevalence of sleep disturbances, factors contributing to poor sleep quality, and effective interventions for promoting healthy sleep habits. A comprehensive search of major databases yielded 24 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The findings indicate that sleep disturbances are a pervasive problem among adolescents, with approximately 70% of high school students reporting insufficient sleep.

Union Conflict Restraint by Mexican Labor Regulatory Institutions of the Neoliberal Period (2007-2018) (Part Three)

This paper shows how a public policy of restraint and domination of collective union actions—strike notices and strikes—was, on behalf of the State, generalized throughout Mexico by the Mexican labor regulatory institutions, the Local Conciliation and Arbitration Boards (Juntas Locales de Conciliación y Arbitraje, JLCA) and the Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Board (Junta Federal de Conciliación y Arbitraje, JFCA), during the last 10 years of the neoliberal period.

Clinical Evaluation of Nityavirechana and Trayodashangaguggulu for Managing Katigraha (Low Back Pain) in Overweight and Obese Individuals: An Open-Label Single-Arm Study

Introduction: Low back pain (LBP) refers to discomfort in the lower back. It is a common issue affecting all age groups. There is a correlation between LBP and Katigraha in Ayurvedic texts. According to modern science, LBP is characterized by persistent pain in the lower back. Ayurveda views LBP as a manifestation of doshic imbalance involving Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Aim of the study: Management of Katigraha with Nityavirechanausing Gandharvahastaditaila, Nirgundikwatha, and Trayodashanagaguggulu.

In other words, policy makers and managers are faced with a question as to whether their decisions to invest in ICT in teaching and learning have yielded the intended goals or not. Hence, the aim of this study was to explore how different stakeholders in Makerere University perceived effectiveness of Makerere University E-Learning Environment (MUELE).

Physicochemical Evaluation of Irrigation Water and Determination of Heavy Metals in Baixa de Hulene-b, Maputo: Impacts on Public Health

To assess the effects of heavy metals (lead, mercury, and silver) present in the irrigation water from Baixa de Hulene-B, this study examined both physicochemical and additional chemical parameters in the water. The water floods the aquifers and vegetable cultivation areas during rainfall, carrying waste and solid refuse from the region's cities. This contamination affects the quality of the water used for irrigation, leading to health problems. The research was descriptive and explanatory in nature and employed a quantitative approach using deductive and comparative methods.

Recent advances in nosology, epidemiology, and psychobiology have resulted in a better understanding of anxiety disorders. Advances in medicine and psychotherapy for these diseases have given patients reasonable hope for symptom alleviation and functional improvement.

Functional Capacity of Community Animation Cells (CAC) and its contribution in improving nutritional status for children under five in Bunyakiri Health Zone in South Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo

Indroduction: Malnutrition significantly contributes to high mortality rates among children under 5 in sub-Saharan Africa, with the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) being particularly affected. In response, various strategies, including community outreach units, have been implemented to enhance child nutrition, specifically in the Bunakiri health zone of DRC's Southern Province. This study seeks to evaluate the functional capacity and the contribution of these CACs on improving the nutritional status of young children in the area.
