O artigo objetiva discutir a categoria precarização do trabalho docente e sua materialidade na educação básica do Estado do Acre.

O objetivo dessa série de casos foi mostrar para os clínicos gerais e especialistas em endodontia da condição não comum dos pré-molares superiores em apresentar três raízes com três canais. Três pacientes foram encaminhados para realização do tratamento endodônticos dos dentes 15 e 25. Ao exame clínico, dois dentes não apresentaram resposta após o teste de vitalidade pulpar e após exames radiográficos foi constatada a presença de três raízes e três canais.

Considerando-se a atual política de atenção à gestante de alto risco, a elevada incidência da SHG, bem como a magnitude dessa doença na gestação e seu impacto no desfecho perinatal, o presente estudo teve como objetivo descrever os principais fatores de risco maternos nas síndromes hipertensivas da gestação. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, onde foram consultadas as seguintes bases de dados: Medical Publications (PubMed), Scopus (Elsevier), Google acadêmico e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO).

Paciente masculino, 49 anos, teve diagnóstico de faringite purulenta e recebeu azitromicina seguida de amoxicilina e clavulanato sem melhora da febre. Evoluiu com convulsão tônico-clônica, tremor generalizado, titubeação axial e cefálica, ataxia de tronco, mioclonia e opsoclonus. A análise do líquor mostrou pleocitose e hiperproteinorraquia. Os testes laboratoriais mostraram inflamação sistêmica, linfocitose e sorologia IgM e IgG anti-Epstein-Barr positiva. O ecocardiograma teve derrame pericárdico leve.

This study aims to describe the epidemiological profile of cases of violence reported in the IV Health Management of the state of Pernambuco. This is a qualitative and quantitative cross-sectional study of secondary data collected in the Notifiable Diseases Information System between 2015 and 2019. After data collection, they were tabulated using Excel® Software 2010.

Professional and Technological Education aims at training for the exercise of professions, and should train people capable of working in the world of work and in life in society, as ethical and responsible professionals and citizens. This education takes place in formal spaces, such as schools and universities, and also in formal spaces, designed for different uses, but which are crossed by pedagogical intentions.

Partindo dos princípios e diretrizes organizacionais do Sistema Único de Saúde, através da descentralização e municipalização, criou-se a Atenção Básica e posteriormente as Estratégias em Saúde da Família. Tais estratégias exigem uma gestão do cuidado de qualidade, atributo implementado através da linha de formação profissional das Residências Multiprofissionais em Saúde garantindo uma assistência mais efetiva aos usuários.

The increasing strictness of environmental laws, associated with the impacts from the inadequate disposal of waste, have challenged several industries to seek more efficient ways to treat their waste. The leather manufacturing industry is constantly growing, bringing with it a large load of waste. One of the most generated solid residues in this type of industry is the so-called "splicer dust". This waste is generated in the leather finishing stage, where the leather is scraped until it reaches the thickness desired by the consumer.

This article aims at reporting the similarities and differences of elderly people living in rural and urban areas in a town from Paraná state. Based on this case study, the sociodemographic aspects and the perception of the elderly were based on eight axes of the World Health Organization – WHO, Elderly Friendly City Global Guide: Open spaces and buildings; Transport; Home; Social participation; Respect and social inclusion; Civic participation and employment; Communication and information and Community support and health services.

The diffusion-absorption refrigeration (DAR) cycle has characteristics as the use of three working fluids and a low COP. In this work, an analytical and experimental investigation of a household refrigerator operating under a H20-NH3-H2DAR cycle is performed. A thermodynamic model of the DAR cycle was developed and adjusted based on models available in the literature. An experimental investigation was performed aiming to validate the developed DAR model using operating data collected in a real refrigerator.
