The main objective of this research is to describe the importance of teaching young people and adults based on Paulo Freire's methodology, whose basis preaches a liberating education that promotes critical and autonomous thinking. The methodological approach was qualitative, bibliographic, and exploratory. The results that emerged from the analysis were that Brazil in recent years has advanced by means of Paulo Freire's approach, which has contributed to the reduction of school inequalities and to students being able to acquire reflective consciousness.

O câncer de mama é o que mais acomete mulheres em todo o mundo e com resultados clínicos satisfatórios em apenas 30-40% dos casos, há urgência por novos alvos moleculares e terapias. Os estrógenos, ligantes naturais dos receptores de estrogênio alfa e beta (REα e REβ), ao se ligarem ao REα podem desencadear este tipo de câncer. Ao contrário do REα, o REβ demonstrou ser capaz de reduzir a proliferação celular e conduzir a apoptose, principalmente quando ligado a moduladores seletivos, como o fitoestrógeno daidzeína.

The exploitation of the mangrove oyster Crassostreagasar is an income-generating activity for the riparian populations of the lagoons of southern Benin. The traditional bottom farming is the most widespread oyster farming method along the coastal lagoon. This study aims to cultivate the oyster with suspension techniques in order to increase oyster production. Rearing trials were carried out between September and October 2017 with vertical suspension technique, horizontal suspension technique and the floating line in different stations.

Objective: To carry out an systematic literature review to understand the methodological strategies for didactic interventions that facilitate the child's entry into reading and writing learning in the early years of elementary school. Materials and Methods: It was carried out a literature survey in the CAPES Periodicals and Google Academic databases in August 2021. Thus, it was selected 09 papers and included according to the eligibility criteria.

The COVID-19 pandemic started in 2019 and caused various modifications in our social structure. Social isolation at home during the pandemic was an obligation that posed challenges, especially for women who often needed to live with their abusers. This review has the objective of profiling women abused within their household during the pandemic. Method: This study represents a qualitative approach, in the format of an integrative review of literature.

O Diabetes Mellitus (DM) é uma doença crônica e quando mal controlado pode levar a complicações clínicas devastadoras. A alimentação é parte fundamental para a prevenção e controle não farmacológico do DM, e por isso, as mudanças nos padrões alimentares ocorridas nos últimos anos, incluindo o maior consumo de alimentos ultraprocessados, tem sido de grande relevância no contexto do DM. Não pode deixar de ser considerado são as repercussões para o meio ambiente do aumento da produção de alimentos ultraprocessados.

Introduction: Over the COVID-19 pandemic period, it was necessary the adaptation to the emergency pedagogical practices to meet the needs of the educational system and minimize school closures and digital teaching practices have been part of the solution, offering distance learning. Objectives: Carrying out a literature review on pedagogical practices of basic education teachers who have the attention of remote students in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Introduction: The condition of greater vulnerability of the elderly requires special attention from health professionals, especially nurses. Este artigo trata da divulgação científica na mídia especializada em bem-estar (jornal, revista, televisão e internet) para o público em geral, a partir das experiências e expectativas do projeto Amanhecer do Hospital Universitário da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Com a intenção de ajudar na cura de transtornos psíquicos através de psicoterapias, entendimento interno, produtos naturais, entre outras ferramentas como auxílio, reduzindo desta forma o uso de medicamentos fortes.
