The LGBTQIA+ population, as a result of vulnerability in several aspects, presents inequities in access to health compared to other population groups. Thus, the formation of the future doctor is questioned and how the teaching and learning on the subject is being passed on by professors in medical schools. This paper presents a narrative review of the approach to the theme in medical education, based on documental research in the main databases (Pubmed and Google scholar).

A relação religiosidade e saúde data de décadas e, na maioria das avaliações, têm mostrado os efeitos positivos da religiosidade sob diferentes desfechos em saúde. Assim, este estudo objetivou avaliar a religiosidade de pacientes em pré-operatório em um hospital regional do interior da Bahia. Para tanto, integraram esta pesquisa 60 pacientes adultos, de ambos os sexos, que responderam a questões relacionadas à religiosidade, entre elas o DUKE RELIGION INDEX (DUREL).

Introduction: The training of health professionals has undergone major transformations in recent years, especially guided by the most recent Curricular Guidelines. Within the educational context we must create and use innovative strategies in an attempt to improve meaningful learning. Among them, we have the Mental Maps and Conceptual Maps, which have been gaining space in the most diverse areas, favoring the teaching-learning binomial combined with active methodologies for the acquisition of competences.

Este trabalho discorre sobre relatos de experiências vivenciados em um estágio supervisionado I, obrigatório do curso de Licenciatura em Computação, do Centro de Estudos Superiores de Itacoatiara – CESIT, da Universidade do Estado do Amazonas – UEA, realizado em uma escola de ensino fundamental no município de Itacoatiara - Amazonas. Possui uma natureza qualitativa, apresentando como procedimentos metodológicos, como visitas à escola com objetivo de observar as aulas, o ambiente e estrutura escolar.

This study discusses the internal logic of an agrarian society behind the conversion of traditional and modern technology use in an agrarian society. The disclosure of this logic becomes the basis for understanding the reasons for the farming community to combine the use of two technological configurations in an agrarian society. The method used in this study is in-depth interviews and observations.

Bearing in mind that analyzing the Walt Disney Company's experience marketing will facilitate understanding the company's success, this study may serve as support to analyze the methods that other companies use to add value to the customer experience, in future oportunities. Therefore, it is necessary to describe the touch points found during the experiment, to describe the context of the Walt Disney Company and to identify the touch points present in this context. A case studies method was used in this study.

As quedas são recorrentes em idosos, cujo conceito envolve o deslocamento não intencional do corpo para um nível abaixoda posição inicial, com impossibilidade de correção em tempo suficiente. Isso ocorre pelos fatores intrínsecos e extrínsecos, resultando diversas vezes em hospitalização e/ou mortalidade, gerando alto custo financeiroem serviços de saúde.

Objetivo: Analisar a prevalência de casos de depressão e ansiedade na população da região centro-sul do estado do Maranhão nas pessoas em isolamento social durante a pandemia do COVID-19. Método: Trata-se deum estudo seccional para avaliação da prevalência e fatores associados aos sintomas de depressão e ansiedade, realizado no estado do Maranhão (MA), situado no nordeste do Brasil, direcionado aos moradores da região centro-sul. O período de coleta de dados estendeu-se entre o mês de setembro de 2021 a novembro de 2021.

Background: The main risk factor for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a positive family history of 10-25% of patients. Crohn's disease (CD) can affect individuals aged 15 to 40 years and aged 50 to 80 years, more frequently in women. Ulcerative colitis (UC) can start at any age. The pathogenesis of IBD is linked to genetically susceptible individuals, deregulated gut microbiota (GM) (dysbiosis), chronic inflammation, and poor eating patterns. Diet plays an important role in modulating the GM and can be applied as a therapeutic tool to improve the course of the disease.

Objetivo: Conhecer o grau de conhecimento dos pacientes diabéticos adultos, bem como, seu nível de aceitação diante da doença, atendidos no Projeto de Atenção Ampliada em Saúde (PAAS) – São Leopoldo, instituição vinculada a Universidade Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS). Método: Estudo transversal de caráter descrito, coletado prospectivamente, com abordagem quantitative. Resultados: Em relação aos escores de DKN-A, 70% apresentam conhecimento satisfatório sobre a doença, não apresentando diferença significativa em relação a sexo (p=0,600) e escolaridade (p=0,208).
