Abstract: 

Introduction: The condition of greater vulnerability of the elderly requires special attention from health professionals, especially nurses. Materials and Methods: Trata-se de uma Revisão Bibliográfica de caráter descritivo, em que os estudos foram selecionados durante o mês de agosto de 2022, por meio das bases de dados Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), ScientificElectronic Library Online (SCIELO) e Google Acadêmico. Results: The nursing team has an important role with regard to the health of the elderly, because through a consultation and nursing system, the nursing system can establish personalized protection measures, especially for the elderly. of life pass and acquire different experiences and modifications in the physiological process. Conclusion: The Nurse's role in the face of violence against the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic was based on the identification and referral of cases to other health professionals, such as the social worker and psychologist, demonstrating that there still needs to be a greater nursing participation in this public health problem, from detection, notification and care.
