Para a redação deste ensaio analisamos quatro importante Instituições de Ensino Superior, que foram escolhidas de maneira preferencial na região sudoeste de Goiás, sendo: A UFG; UEG; UNIFIMES e UNIRV. A propósito, cabe lembrar que este trabalho é resultado de uma extensa pesquisa científica patrocinada pelo Centro Universitário de Mineiros. Abordar-se-á ao longo do texto temas importantes como cotas raciais, prevista na Lei nº 12.711/2012, políticas de inclusão social na educação, além das inúmeras legislações que regulam a educação inclusiva.

Com o processo de urbanização das cidades ocorre um grande aumento da taxa de impermeabilização dos solos, e provocaalagamentos e inundações. O objetivo desta pesquisa é mostrar que existem meios para a minimizaçãodesses impactos ao meio ambiente e à população, utilizando sistemas de meio de controle, que neste estudo será abordado sobre o pavimento permeável.

The rootstock for grafting sweet orange is ‘Cravo” lime acid, a variety that is susceptibility to various fungal diseases. In order to improve citrus orchardsit is essential to employ rootstocks with more advantageous traits. The aim of this study was to evaluate the vegetative and reproductive characteristics in young plants of ‘Pear’ or ‘Aquiri’ sweet orange grafted onto different rootstocks.

A Conobea scoparioides conhecida como pataqueira é usada no preparo de banhos aromáticos, mas estudos relatam que essa espécie possui aplicações diversas como o tratamento de doenças como a beribéri, além do potencial antileishmaniose. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi desenvolver um protocolo de conservação in vitro, para a pataqueira, baseado no crescimento lento. Foram utilizados três diferentes concentrações de meio de cultura: MS completo, ½ de MS e ¼ MS. A temperatura de 18 ± 1°C foi testada com três diferentes níveis de irradiâncias de luz LED branca: 35, 45 e 75 μmol.m-2.s-1.

Vascular dementia is part of a brain disease group called dementia. This cerebrovascular pathology is the second most frequent among diseases that make up this group, second only to Alzheimer’s disease. Among the causes that motivate the emergence of this disease, there is systemic arterial hypertension, atherosclerosis, diabetes mellitus and advanced age. Thus, this study aimed to understand the factors that trigger the development of vascular dementia, in addition to its implications and repercussions on the life quality of both the affected individual and family members.

Objetivo: Identificar por meio da literatura a incidência de lesão renal aguda (LRA)e sua mortalidade em pacientes críticoscom COVID-19. Método: Revisão integrativa da literatura, com seleção dos artigos publicados entre 2020 e 2021 nas bases de dados da Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde: LILACS, SCIELO,PUBMED. Por meio dos descritores “Injúria Renal Aguda” AND “Coronavírus-19” AND “Unidade de Terapia Intensiva”. Resultados: O estudo foi composto por um recorte de 12publicações. Os estudos em geral apontam uma alta incidencia de LRA em pacientes criticos vitmas de COVID-19.

The purpose of intensive care units (ICU) is to meet the needs of patients, whose condition requires frequent assistance and observation by health professionals. The oral cavity is the gateway for pathogenic microorganisms and preventing infections by these agents is essential for the patient's systemic health. Thus, the aim of this study was to verify, through an integrative literature review, the most frequent diseases associated with the oral cavity in ICU patients and to emphasize the importance of the dentist in these intensive care units.

Tuberculosis is one of the oldest diseases of humankind, caused by bacteria belonging to the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex. It affects several animal species, with an emphasis on humans and cattle. Given this premise, this study aims to describe the epidemiological aspects of human and bovine tuberculosis in Brazil and to foster discussion of the variables analyzed from a One Health perspective. Data were collected from Brazil's platforms of compulsory infection notification for both species.

This study explored factors that can motivate and/or impede hygiene habits in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) among primary school children. A cross sectional survey was carried out among 294 children and 4 head teachers in 4 selected schools. Data were collected using questionnaire and observation checklist regarding socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge and practice of respondents about hand washing practices among children from selected schools. Statistical analysis was done using SPSS version 22.0 after the data has been entered using Microsoft Excel.

Cirrhotic patients who are on the waiting list for liver transplantation usually have numerous changes in innate and adaptive immune responses, developing an acquired immunosuppressive state. Thus, these patients affected by cirrhosis had an increased risk of contracting diseases, especially periodontal disease. The aim of this study was to present dental care for patients with pre-transplant liver cirrhosis. This is a descriptive case report with a qualitative approach.
