Desde a antiguidade as plantas medicinais são utilizadas como tratamento para várias doenças e na atualidade elas têm sido bastante requisitadas como alternativa aos medicamentos sintéticos. Uma dessas plantas é o gengibre, planta herbácea pertencente à família Zingiberaceae. O gengibre, também conhecido cientificamente por Zingiberofficinale, é um rizoma originário da Ásia, rico em compostos bioativos, com diversas aplicações terapêuticas na saúde e na culinária.

The present research results in the observation of a certain stretch of urban crossing used by pedestrians and/or cyclists in the municipality of Gurupi-TO. The municipality is cut perpendicularly by the BR-153, with the conflict between pedestrians who need to use this area and passenger and cargo vehicles. Usually, cities cut by stretches of highways have one side with greater development than the other, resulting in a constant flow of residents of the region, leaving these crossings dangerous due to the lack of elements that ensure the lives of the population.

Introduction: Pressure ulcers occur due to friction or increased pressure in areas of the body of patients hospitalized or bedridden for a long period of time due to a process of tissue hypoxia that consequently results in tissue necrosis.

A síndrome de Guillain-Barré é uma poliradiculoneuropatia inflamatória aguda autoimune desmielinizante do sistema nervoso periférico e raízes nervosas, que gera fraqueza muscular simétrica rapidamente progressiva e diminuição ou ausência de reflexos profundos do tendão e marcha instável. Sabe-se que está associada às mais diversas etiologias e que precisa de intervenção precoce a fim de evitar agravamento.

O estudo diz respeito da parametrização algébrica da hipérbole tratando com a relação com o seno e cosseno hiperbólico. A forma de parametrização escolhida é de caráter estritamente algébrico, evitando assim as manipulações geométricas e oportunizando que as identidades relacionadas ao círculo trigonométrico, sejam aplicadas de forma mais eficaz. Portanto, as identidades são irrelevantes para esta parametrização e sem necessidade se usar matriz de rotação corroborando em utilização de transposições didáticas da geometria analítica.

This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of feeding locally-made concentrate and imported concentrate on the performance of broiler chicks. A total number of 120 broiler chicks (Hubber) were used. Birds were distributed randomly into 12 pens (10/pen) as replicates in completely randomized design. The two experimental diets were formulated to be iso-caloric and iso-nitrogenous.

Introdução: A doença causada pelo coronavírus disease 2019 (COVID-19) é considerada um grave problema de saúde pública a nível mundial, capaz de causar síndrome respiratória aguda grave, com relevante morbimortalidade. Considerando as evidências existentes sobre a elevada prevalência de lesão renal aguda (LRA) em pacientes graves com covid-19 e de sua associação com maior mortalidade, entender a fisiopatologia da LRA nesse contexto se torna imperativo. Objetivo: realizar um revisão de literatura sobre as evidências mais recentes sobre a fisiopatologia da LRA na infecção por COVID-19.

A doença renal crônica (DRC) é uma condição heterogênea caracterizada pela presença de múltiplos mecanismos fisiopatológicos que promovem sua origem e progressão, incluindo alterações na estrutura e função renal, mediadores inflamatórios e fatores de risco como a obesidade, diabetes e o envelhecimento.

Digital devices and applications are widely used by Institutions. Various committees and commissions have also emphasized digital technologies in the educational field. NEP 2020, NCTE regulation 2014 has also emphasized Digital literacy and its applications of ICT in the teaching-learning process. The government of India has launched various programmes like the Digital India campaign, e-pathshala, NROER, Swayam, Swayamprava, NDL India, etc. for facilitating the use of ICT in Education.

The present study aimed to map the dissertations presented to the Professional Master’s Degree Program in Management and Innovation in the Animal Industry of the School of Animal Science and Food Engineering (FZEA) of the University of São Paulo (USP), identifying the presence, nature, and degree of innovation in each of them.
