Effects of cypermethrin and diazinon on haematology of Labeo rohita (H.)

The study was conducted to investigate the effect of cypermethrin and diazinon on haematology of Labeo rohita (H.) in glass aquaria. Twelve batches of fish were exposed to two concentrations of cypermethrin (0.15 and 0.30 l/L) and diazinon (0.002 and 0.004 ml/L) for 96 hours and three batches of fish were treated as control. The blood parameters viz., total WBC and RBC count, Hb, PCV, MCV, MCH and MCHC values were analyzed using standard methods.
