Non- performing assets and their impact on growth of banking industry in Tanzania: A case of NMB bank

The aim of the study is to assess the impact of non-performing assets on the growth of banking industry in Tanzania specifically NMB Bank. The objectives of the study accessed the impact of non-performing assets on growth of banking industry, analyzed the causes for non-performing assets in banks. Furthermore it explored and identified specific steps that bank officers have to deal with the problems.

Unusual variations in the formation and branching pattern of brachial plexus

Anatomical variations in the formation and branching pattern of the brachial plexus are known. However, presence of various anomalies in the same cadaver, differing on the two sides is very rare. The present study aims to record the prevalence of such variations with embryological explanation and clinical implications. The study was carried out on thirty upper limbs from fifteen adult human cadavers. The brachial plexuses were exposed and dissected as per standard guidelines. The formation and branching pattern was observed.

A comparative study of the effect of intravenous tramadol hydrochloride and intravenous clonidine hydrochloride on post spinal an aesthesia shivering

Background: Control of post spinal shivering is essential for optimal perioperative care, which can be achieved either by oral or parental medications. The present study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of intravenous low-dose clonidine and tramadol in the treatment of post spinal shivering.

The filarial dance sign in scrotal filarial infection- a retrospective study

Objective. To determine the value of the filarial dance sign as a diagnostic sign of scrotal filarial infection and to recognize unsuspected scrotal filariasis by this sign.
Methods. Five symptomatic patients in whom the filarial dance sign was shown on high-resolution ultrasonography were studied, investigated, and followed after treatment with diethylcarbamazine citrate. Two patients underwent fine-needle aspiration.

Development of pulse, banana and pineapple pomace based weaning food and its quality evaluation during storage

The present research was carried out with the objective to develop weaning food using different levels of pulse flour, banana flour and pineapple pomace flour with respect to sensory quality and nutritional density and evaluated for its physico-chemical, sensory and microbial characteristics. Weaning foods were packed in laminated aluminium foil, and were stored at ambient temperature. Eight blends, prepared with banana flour 30%, pulse flour and pineapple pomace flour were incorporated in the ratio 70:0, 65:5, 60:10, 55:15, 50:20, 45:25, 40: 30, 35:35.

A quasi experimental study to assess the effectiveness of structured demonstration of relaxation techniques on pre examination stress among adolescents in selected schools, Jalandhar, Pu

A Quasi Experimental study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of structured demonstration of relaxation techniques on pre examination stress among adolescents in selected schools, Jalandhar, Punjab. The aim of the study was to find the effectiveness of structured demonstration of relaxation techniques on stress among adolescents.  Results depicted that in pre-demonstration, most of the adolescents (67.71%) had moderate stress level (8-15 score).Mean pre demonstration stress score among adolescents was 12.58. So adolescents have stress as lesser the mean score, greater is the stress.

Proposed pyramid fractal image compression

To evaluate the proposed pyramid fractal image compression, and comparing its result with traditional FIC, several tests were performed. A detailed investigation was carried out on the performance of the pyramid fractal image compression technique in order to view the performance of the last one in terms of encoding speed, compression ratio and reconstructed accuracy. We examine the performance of our new technique of fractal image compression based on pyramid partitioning domain step=2,s_quantize=5 and o_quantize=7 using standard (256x256) gray-scale image.

Speeding up fractal image compression

Various compression methods have been proposed. In recent year fractal image compression gained more interest because of their capability to achieve high compression ratios while maintaining very good quality of the reconstructed image. However, this method suffers from a long encoding time arise from very large number of domain blocks that must be examined to match each range block.  Our proposed technique based on Most Frequent Pixel (MFP) used to reduce the encoding time in fractal coding algorithms.

Predicting enterprise management in agribusiness in India: An analysis from a score of agro-economic and socio-ecological variables

Any kind of enterprise across the world needs a clandestine management intervention. Agribusiness is the simmering character for Indian agriculture for which an interactive design is needed to organize the agribusiness factor production. In most cases farmer makes mistake in allocating resources, rationalizing cost structure and organizing farm operations with financial and managerial skills. This has led to generation of a market glut or plunging market price due to poor quality production.
