The teaching-learning process and its concepts and practices are in continuous transformation. Innovative practices, as the active methodologies and interdisciplinarity, are challenges for professors, students, and institutions. This study aimed to identify teaching methodologies, techniques, resources and interdisciplinarity adopted by professors in a public higher education institution in Paraná, Brazil. A sample of 231 valid questionnaires was obtained. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and comparisons with parametric and non-parametric tests.

Este artigo é resultado da experiência de um projeto integrador (projeto de extensão) que teve como objetivo promover a empatia e melhorar o repertório desta habilidade em acadêmicos de fisioterapia do Centro Universitário UNIAMÉRICA. Método: Este artigo é de caráter descritivo, de natureza qualitativa e quantitativa, tendo como mostra 9 acadêmicos do curso de fisioterapia. Para seleção da mostra foi realizado uma pesquisa de demanda, entrevista com a coordenadora do curso de Fisioterapia e para levantamentos dos dados foi aplicado o Inventário de Habilidades Sociais (IHS-2).

The present work has as its theme the beliefs in beauty as a possibility to reach the encounter and the realization of the meaning of life. To this end, it establishes a dialogue between constructs arising from social cognition and logotherapy in interface with the Thomist Philosophy. The contact points of the constructs were listed through a literature review. Understanding the evaluative richness present in the ideal of beauty, it was concluded that the beliefs in this ideal represent an important way to find meaning through contemplation and creation.

Adductor pollicis muscle thickness (APMT) has been used as a marker of muscle mass, which is influenced by the physiological changes of aging, and it is interesting to investigate its relationship with functional capacity in older people. The objective was to analyze the relationship APMT and functional capacity. Men and women ≥ 60 years of age were recruited from a geriatric clinic. Data were collected on sociodemographic characteristics, anthropometric measures and APMT, dependence on activities of daily living.

Este estudo objetivou avaliar a influência da religiosidade e espiritualidade no enfrentamento de deficiências físicas na população de Montes Claros, Minas Gerais (MG). Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, de correlação, transversal, de enfoque quantitativo. A população foi caracterizada por meio de questionário socioeconômico e demográfico, causa da deficiência e tempo. Para avaliar a influência da religiosidade e espiritualidade no enfrentamento de deficiências físicas utilizou-se a escala de Coping Religioso Espiritual Breve (CREBreve).

Introdução: O vírus SARS-CoV-2 provocou grande mudança na vida da sociedade mundial, inclusive dos idosos, que na maioria das vezes são mais suscetíveis a doenças virais devido as características intrínsecas do organismo. Objetivo: Com isso, o presente estudo tem o objetivo de analisar os impactos do distanciamento social à saúde mental dos idosos durante a pandemia do COVID-19.

Introdução: The article discusses the general provisions of the feasibility study for the use of dual completion operation on the example of the experience of Turkmenistan, where an experimental test was conducted on four wells of the Northern Goturdepe field located in the coastal zones of the coastal waters of the Caspian Sea. Geological materials and materials of previously drilled wells were used for the design, as well as analysis of hydrodiamic and thermodynamic indicators from the existing well stock.

Objetivo: Sintetizar e mapear os estudosacerca do acesso aos serviços de saúde de mulheres em privação de liberdade e, identificar os Determinantes Sociais de Saúde (DSS) associados a o cárcere. Métodos: protocolo de revisão de escopo aderente ao Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols. A estratégia de busca será conduzida em 8 bases de dados quais sejam: EMBASE, Cochrane Library MEDLINE/PubMed, Web of Science, SCOPUS, CINAHL, PsycINFO e LILACS, sem limites dedata de publicação e de linguagem.
