Análise das inovações nos processos licitatórios: mudanças provocadas pela lei 14.133/2021

The New Bidding Law came to improve the bidding processes in Brazil, ensuring more agility for the purchase or contracting of goods and services, as well as more transparency for the entire bidding process. Social oversight has increased in recent years, requiring the State to adopt an increasingly informed stance on public spending and the purchase of goods and services from third parties. In this article, we will seek to understand the new bidding law, known as Law nº 14.133/2021, and presenting the main innovations and changes of the new law in relation to the previous legislation.

Fibrilação atrial como fator preditor do acidente vascular encefálico: fisiopatologia, diagnóstico e tratamento

O Acidente Vascular Encefálico (AVE) representa uma doença cerebrovascular de início súbito e rápido em que ocorre disfunção neurológica decorrente da interrupção do fluxo sanguíneo para o encéfalo, órgão do Sistema Nervoso Central (SNC). Fatores de risco associados são: sedentarismo, etilismo, uso de anticoncepcional oral, gênero masculino, obesidade, tabagismo, faixas etárias mais avençadas, dislipidemias, hipertensão arterial sistêmica, diabetes, síndrome metabólica e doenças cardiovasculares.

Educação e saúde sobre sífilis: desenvolvimento de um mecanismo para promoção do autocuidado e prevenção

A sífilis é uma infecção bacteriana sistêmica ocasionada pelo Treponema pallidum, apresenta evolução lenta e pode causas danos graves ao portador. É considerada uma questão de saúde pública e carece de instrumento de promoção a saúde mais didáticos e acessíveis. Este artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa que objetivou a elaboração de uma cartilha educativa sobre sífilis destinada á promoção da educação em saúde no meio virtual.

Assistência à saúde mental: percepção e prática dos profissionais da atenção primária à saúde

Objetivo: analisar a percepção e prática dos profissionais da Atenção Primária à Saúde, no que se refere à assistência em Saúde Mental, contribuindo para o esclarecimento das dificuldades em suas rotinas e para melhorar a assistência aos usuários. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo exploratório, com abordagem qualitativa, pautado no referencial da fenomenologia de Alfred Schütz, aplicando-se a técnica de análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Participaram do estudo 23 profissionais de nível superior atuantes nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde em um múnicipio de Minas Gerais.

Case report: Large cystic teratoma of anterior mediastino

Introduction: Mediastinal teratomas come from primordial germ cells, where, in the embryological process there is a failure to complete their migration of the urogenital crest and developing in the mediastinal region. Its peak incidence is between the second and third decade of life, with no predisposition to gender; they correspond to 8 to 13% of tumors in this region; benign tumors have a favorable prognosis to surgical treatment.

Monitoring of water use for irrigated rice cultivation on the southern Coast of Santa Catarina, Brazil

Rice growing is the main agricultural activity on the southern coast of Santa Catarina. The cultivation system used is flood irrigation with planting in the pre-germinated system. The activity is characterized by the high demand for water use, and thus there are water use conflicts and also impacts on water quality. Irrigation is carried out based on natural water availability and there are no structures for measuring the volumes used. This study aimed to monitor and evaluate the use of irrigation water in a collective system of irrigation association of rice producers.

Study of 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acidadsorption on coconut shell biochar

The adsorption of 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (4-CPA) by coconut shell biochar (CSB) was investigated. The effect of sample solution pH was studied. The optimum solution pH value was1. This suggested that the strong interaction of 4-CPA with the CSB.Therefore, CSB, as a green, environmental-friendly adsorbent, can be applied to the adsorption of contaminants in environment.

Monitoring of marine turtles’ populations in ilha grandebay, rj (2018-2022), As an indicator of environmental resilience

The coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro is considered of extreme importance for the conservation of sea turtles, all classified as threatened or critically endangered. Electronuclear Tartaruga Viva program, carried out by the Faculty of Oceanography of the State University of Rio de Janeiro, monitors marine turtles in the area of influence of the Almirante Álvaro Alberto Nuclear Power Plant - CNAAA and seeks to elucidate any behavioral changes or distribution of populations in the area of influence.

Changes in brazilian dairy consumption in the early stage of covid-19 pandemic: an analysis based on the nova classification

The uncertainty caused by COVID-19 pandemic has impacted people’s habits in many ways. Understanding the effects of the pandemic on food consumption becomes essential for industries, policymakers, researchers, and interested people. This paper investigates how the early stage of COVID-19 pandemic changed the consumption of dairy products in Brazil. Estimates show that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on dairy consumption in Brazil are aligned with the most recent Brazilian food classification (NOVA).

Epidemiological analysis on tibial plateau fractures in patients treatment at a trauma hospital in the State of Rio de Janeiro

Tibial plateau fractures pose a risk to the functional integrity of the knee, in addition to having a wide variation in bone healing time, ranging from 10 weeks to 10 months, and having a high incidence of nonunion. Objectives: To analyze the epidemiological profile of tibial plateau fractures in patients treated at the orthopedics department of Hospital Geral de Nova Iguaçu. Methods: A retrospective, analytical and observational study was carried out at the General Hospital of Nova Iguaçu. Data were collected through the analysis of 70 medical records from July 2021 to July 2022.
