Autonomous aerial delivery system

It is rightly said that Robots are next generation citizen of the modern world. Advancements in robotics technology is increasing leaps and bounds which is making them flexible to do human like works more effectively without any rest. In this project we develop a autonomous aerial drone for delivery of products which will reduce manpower and also improve the quality of delivery. An autonomous aerial drone will be made, which is GPS linked and navigation enabled, which will fly off from the factory and deliver the product at the doorstep of the customer.

A study of 24 hours urinary parameters in kidney stone disease

Urinary metabolic abnormalities such as low urine volume, hypercalciuria, hyperoxaluria, hyperuricosuria and hypocitraturia predispose the patient to early recurrence in kidney stone disease. This present study was planned to measure calcium, magnesium, oxalate, citrate, phosphate and uric acid in 24  hours urine samples in first time kidney stone disease and recurrent kidney  stone disease patients to emphasize the importance of these measurements in  metabolic evaluation and management of kidney stone disease.

Assessment of MDA in adjuvant with CA-125 in early ovarian cancer detection

Ovarian cancer (Oca) alone accounts for 16% of all cancers in the female and is the fifth most common form of cancer in the world. As Oca offers poor prognosis, CA-125 is a sole biomarker for the detection of Oca besides histological techniques. CA-125, also known as MUC16 is a membrane bound glycoprotein which is found in higher concentration in blood of Oca patients. In addition to multiple factor endorsing ovarian carcinoma, oxidative stress has also been inscribed to be critical factor in tumor development.

Detection of NS1 antigen from suspected dengue viral infection cases by capture ELISA and immunochromatography methods: a comparative study

Dengue virus infection is one of the serious mosquito borne viral infection mainly affecting the population from tropical and subtropical countries of the world with high morbidity and mortality. In India it is a major public health problem with all four serotypes of Dengue virus (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, DENV-4). An estimated 50 million dengue infections occur annually. Among the hospitalized 2.5% of the children die with disease. There is no immunoprophylaxis or specific antiviral therapy available so far.

Study of protective effect of dawa-ul-qust (a unani compound formulation) against CCL4 induced acute hepatic injury in rats

A Unani compound formulation known as Dawa-ul-Qustwas evaluated for its hepatoprotective effects by crude as well as 50% hydro-alcoholic extract against Carbon tetra chloride (CCl4) induced liver injury in rats. The animals were divided into five groups of 6 animals each – I (Plain control), II Negative control (CCl4 treated group), III (Silymarin treated), IV DQ (Crude treated)and V DQ (Extract treated). Hepatotoxicity was induced by single administration of CCl4 (2ml/ kg I.P.

An interesting case of devastating burn injury over scalp with exposed duramater without skull bone in fronto parietal area of 6 years aged child for reconstruction

Tissue expansion has become the most important armamentarium for aesthetic scalp reconstruction as it allows the surgeon to cover large defects using local tissue of appropriate colour, texture and adnexal structure with minimum donor site morbidity. It is commonly used in reconstruction of large defects created due to any trauma, electric burn over scalp, excision of tumors, carcinoma of breast following reconstruction of operation and in many other conditions.

Comparative clinical study of efficacy of shigruadi taila and shadbindu ghrita nasya in the management of apinas (atrophic rhinitis)

With the aim to evaluate the efficacy of shigruaditaila and shadbindughrita Nasya in the management of Apinas (Atrophic Rhinitis), a Single blind randomized clinical study was done. For the clinical study of Apinas 60 subjects was selected and studied. Subject’s fulfilling the criteria of diagnosis was studied irrespective of their religion, caste, sex and socio-economic status from shalakya-tantra department of the institute after thorough scrutiny and proper consent in his/her language. The Subject’s having age between 20-60 yrs was selected for the clinical study.

Determination of diethylstilbestrol in water samples by salting-out assisted liquid-liquid extraction-UV-VIS

A salting-out assisted liquid–liquid extraction (SALLE) technique was successfully developed  for extraction diethylstilbestrol (DES) in water samples followed by ultraviolet visible spectrophotometry (UV-Vis) analysis. Several parameters affecting the extraction, including volume of salting-out solvent, the pH of sample solution and salting-out solvent, were optimized.
