Relational analysis of extent of participation and impact of nwdp on the beneficiaries

The present investigation was conducted in Beed and Nanded district of Marathwada region in Maharashtra State. The main objective of the study was to assess the relationship between profile of beneficiaries with their extent of participation and impact of NWDP. The data were collected with the help of pre-designed interview schedule by contacting 200 respondents i.e. 100 beneficiaries from watershed villages and 100 non-beneficiaries from non-watershed villages.

The level of tax compliance in Indonesia is still low, as evidenced by the tax gap and the low tax ratio. Therefore, given that the level of tax compliance influence on the increase in tax revenue, it should be required intensive study of the factors that influence the level of tax compliance. This study is aimed to analyse the influence of variable that included in Theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen, 1991) there are attitude, perceived behavioral control on corporate tax compliance. This study also examined whether the sunset policy influence intentions on corporate tax compliance.

The evaluation of teachers` competencies in the higher education of east timor: Students perspective

Several studies have demonstrated the impact that the quality of teacher education has on teaching and student performance. The assessment of the competences of higher education teachers by students is one way of assessing the quality of teachers and, therefore, the quality of public higher education itself. It is therefore pertinent to carry out empirical studies that make it possible to understand how students evaluate teachers' competences.

Socio-economic development of Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal- a factorial analysis approach

The study analyses the pattern of socio-economic development of Dakshin Dinajpur using factor analysis method. Total 30 socio-economic variables are considered for the present investigation. The factor analysis of 30 variables related to socio-economic development of Dakshin Dinajpur yielded five factors which together account for 91.33% of total variance. The first component explains 27.19 percent of the total variance whereas second, third, fourth and fifth factors explain 21.62 %, 20.75%, 11.89%, 8.85 % respectively.

The effects of psychological factors on intention to seek counselling in international students in Taiwan

The population of international students in Taiwan has increased significantly in recent years. The current study adopted Cramer’s (1999) model of help-seeking behaviour, which explains the relationships between self-concealment, social support, distress levels, attitudes toward counselling, and intention to seek counselling. The study used cross-cultural samples for the linkage of Cramer’s model.
