Life skill education among adoloscents

In any society, rapid change in social, moral, ethical and religious values demand changes in the life style of individuals. Such changes are inevitable and adolescents   are most affected by these changes. Moreover, these changes interfere with physical, psychological and social health of adolescents, resulting in exposure, to high risk behavior. There is growing recognition that many adolescents are not sufficiently prepare to deal with the demands of the modern society. Today’s adolescents are exposed to more information and cultural alternatives than earlier period.

Background: India, a very first time recorded absolute increase in the urban population which may outpaced the ability of government to provide a basic civic amenities and primary health care to a large section of the urban poor. 
Objectives: Paper tried to estimate the coverage gap in maternal and child health related indicators in order to prioritize key indicators in achieving sustainable development goals particularly among urban poor.

Factors influencing mycotoxins production in maize (zea mays l.) and groundnuts (arachis hypogaea l.) in sub-humid, semi-arid areas of eastern central, Tanzania

The aim of this study was to assess factors influencing mycotoxins contaminations in maize (Zea mays L.) and groundnuts (Arachis hypogeal L.) in Kilosa District, Tanzania. The data for the research was collected by use of questionnaires. There were several post-harvest practices that were positively related with mycotoxin contaminations.

The text book and the english teaching as a second language in Brazil

This text has as its goal analyzing the cultural aspects in a series of four textbooks. These books have been used in Brazil since 2004. It is believed, in this research, that the textbooks have been a source of great importance to the studies and to the research in the recent field of History of School Subjects. It is possible to obtain, through the content of a textbook, activities and exercises proposed, information that can be used to determine the context of its usage as well as its role in the teaching processes. The analysis of the textbook was the methodological tool used.

In this paper, the hybridized feature descriptor has been utilized for the CBIR engines. The content based image retrieval (CBIR) systems are being popular among the internet users and they provide them the various ways to find the desired image contents from the online image databases. Content based image retrieval (CBIR) systems offer the query inputs in the form of text keywords, specifications, image properties, color patterns, texture patterns or image itself as the input query.

Mapping fuel mix in rural areas: A case study of interfuel substitution in Doda District (J&K)

Fuel is a substance which when burns provide heat or power or the substance act as a store of energy for which it may be made to react in a way with the releases of energy in the form of heat, a substance that release energy to be used for work, while making it to react with other substance. This energy released from the fuel is the most important component of all human activities, providing services like heating, cooking, lighting, generating industrial output, mineral extraction and transportation.
