Designing of skip-lot sampling plan with multiple repetitive group sampling plan as reference plan through relative slopes

This paper explains the selection procedure for Skip lot-sampling plan of type SkSP-R which use Multiple Repetitive Group Sampling (MRGS) plan as reference plan through relative slopes at various points on the OC curve, which describes the degree of steepness of the OC curve.

A futuristic approach- industrial mathematics

The research paper discusses the growing importance of Industrial Mathematics and its useful applications in the organizations. As we all know that modelling and asymptotic analysis appear in classical applied mathematics, but industrial mathematicians need a wide and broad knowledge of mathematical ideas, algorithms and computer. They need an understanding of the problems in industry, actually they have to understand and speak the language spoken in the industries. Industrial mathematics is a mathematical modelling and scientific computing of industrial problems.

Community information centres: A step to develop the rural communities in India

Improved communication and easy information access are directly related to the social and economic development of a country. Access to telephony and ICTs world, development has become more widespread in developing countries like India. This study aims to identify the information facilities of rural communities in India and understand the challenges and opportunities. It also explores how CIC can be strap up to promote development rural communities in India. Questionnaire, documentary sources, regional planning and observations are the major methods of this study.

Understanding public library system in Vietnam

Purpose: This paper aims to provide an overview of public library system in Vietnam. Responsibilities, operations of public libraries and sources of funding for them are given, especially the National Library of Vietnam.
Methodology/approach: An in-depth reading of the relevant documents and observation are applying to understand, describe and make inferences about public library system in Vietnam.

Arsenic coagulation/flocculation with iron (iii) hydroxide: Adsorption mechanisms and stability constants of surface complexes

The adsorption of arsenic (V) on iron (III) hydroxide had investigated in function of sorbent amount, pH, and contact time. The surface complexation method is used to establish the interaction mechanisms. H3O+/OH-stoichiometry is evaluated and varied between -2 and 2, in pH range of 3 to 12. This suggests that As (V) adsorbs in this conditions, via six predominant adsorption reactions. Stability constants of predominant species which are protonated and unprotonated, are obtained. The contribution of electrostatic effect to arsenic (V) uptake by Fe-hydroxide is evaluated.

A review on desalination of water using single slope passive solar still

This article reviews single slope solar still and recent studies on the solar still systems for utilized for desalination process. The review includes basic principles of solar distillation and different modifications (optimization) suggested for improvement in distiller yield. General mathematical modeling methodology of solar stills. The efficiency and performance of the single slope solar still are also given.

Burning fuel whith the help of laser in automobile

In today’s world there is massive reduction in the fuel supply due to excessive use of vehicles. The moment when there is a direct inject of fuel engine shows the highest reducing in the fuel consumption and exhaust emission. Spark plugs offer only limited possibilities for optimising engine efficiency, due to their fixed position within a cylinder and the protrusion of electrodes which disturb the cylinder geometry and can quench the flame kernel. Laser radiation is non-invasive and has greater flexibility in terms of the ignition position, allowing the possibility of multipoint ignition.

Study on the kineticsand pyrolytic characteristics ofnavel orangeresidue by thermogravimetric analyzer

Pyrolyticbehaviors of biomass (navel orange residue, NOR) and kinetic parameters were investigated bya thermogravimetric (TG) analyzer in N2 atmosphere. The results showed that the thermal degradation temperaturerange of NOR varied with heatingrates; the slower heatingrate, then arrower temperature range. The results indicated that total mass loss had to do with heating rate. Based on the DTG data with different heating rates, activation energy was calculated by three methods. The activation energy was from 104.75to 178.85kJ•mol-1; the order of reaction was 1.19.

Gillnet selectivity to hampala barb fish hampala macrolepidota kuhl and van hasselt, 1823 in lake Kerinci, Jambi

The use of suitable mesh size in the gill net fishery is important as it creates a possibility of protecting the fish, which has not reached the minimum legal or commercial length. For this reason, study on the gill net selectivity of mesh size of Hampala barb catch in Lake Kerinci was carried out from April to October 2013. The length data of fish samples were obtained from fishermen using various mesh sizes gill nets of 1.0 to 4.5 inches.

Shadbindu taila nasya in allergic rhinitis: a controlled clinical trial to compare its efficacy with topical azelastine hydrochloride nasal spray

With the aim to evaluate the efficacy of shadbindu taila Nasya and topical Azelastine hydrochloride nasal spray in the management of Allergic Rhinitis, a Single blind randomized clinical study was done. For the clinical study of Allergic Rhinitis 60 subjects was selected and studied. Subject’s fulfilling the criteria of diagnosis was studied irrespective of their religion, caste, sex and socio-economic status from shalakya-tantra (ENT) department of the institute after thorough scrutiny and proper consent in his/her language.
