Objetivo: Compreender a percepção de cuidado em saúde mental e de institucionalização por parte de profissionais cuidadores de saúde que atuam em um hospital psiquiátrico.Materiais e Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo e exploratório, com abordagem qualitativa, realizado em um hospital psiquiátrico localizado em um município do Nordeste Brasileiro. A população foi composta por cuidadores em saúde na área mental. A amostra é do tipo não probabilística por conveniência, composta por dez cuidadores que estavam no serviço durante a coleta de dados.

The objective was to verify in the national scientific production which publications exist about Alzheimer's Disease in elderly people and the reality lived by their caregivers. This is an integrative review. Data collection took place in July 2018, in the electronic databases: Latin American Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Nursing Database (BDENF) and in the digital library. Based on an ethnographic study, this article aimed to discuss domestic violence against women perpetrated by intimate partners and its consequences on the health of victims. Data collection was performed through semi-structured and individual interviews with 15 aging women in a municipality in the northwest of Paraná. The results showed that 14 women lived abusive relationships. Of these, 08 suffered psychological violence and 06 as much psychological as physical aggressions. Physical violence was always accompanied by psychological violence, but the opposite was not always the case.

Vallecular cysts are quite rare entities, & most publications in the literature are case reports that describe neonatal airway obstruction or difficult intubation in adults . Conservative management is usually performed in asymptomatic cases. Treatment options include cyst aspiration, marsupialization, surgical debulking, & laser excision in symptomatic cases. Here we discuss the unique excision of a vallecular cyst in an elderly patient with the help of a coablator.

Introduction: The incidence of vulvar cancer tends to increase in developed countries, particularly in younger women. Few studies about this disease have been done in our country. Our study aims to describe the epidemiological, clinical and therapeutic profile of vulvar cancers in the Oncology-Radiotherapy Department of the University Hospital Center Joseph Ravoahangy Andrianavalona (UHC/JRA), Antananarivo Madagascar. Method: This was a retrospective and descriptive study from January 2008 to December 2015. All patients with vulvar cancers histologically proven were included.

Primary Health Care has as one of its main focuses the family health program. This program is responsible for comprehensive prevention care, including oral care. Patients with HIV positive have more problems of infections and oral lesions due to low immunity, requiring a strong prevention program in these patients. These programs exist, focusing on the education of both patients and caregivers for children. However, not all patients adhere to treatment when outside the program, or even drop out, requiring greater awareness of the risks of opportunistic infections.

Objetivo: analisar o impacto da incontinência urinária na qualidade de vida de mulheres praticantes de Crossfit. Método: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, realizado com 24 mulheres que praticam crossfit. Os instrumentos utilizadosforam: um questionário sociodemográfico, um de qualidade de vida o KHQ, o ICIQ-SF adaptado e o Pad Test para avaliar o grau de incontinência urinária nessas mulheres praticantes de Crossfit. A análise foi composta de média, desvio padrão e erro padrão da média, com estatística descritiva.

Orthodontic tooth movement is achieved by remodeling of the alveolar bone in response to mechanical loading. A change in metabolic state that interferes with bone remodeling may result in a different rate of tooth movement. Diabetes mellitus (DM) may adversely affect bone remodeling and tooth movement during the application of orthodontic forces.
