A saúde é o maior recurso para desenvolvimento social, econômico, pessoal, assim como uma importante dimensão da qualidade de vida. Portanto, articulou-se para o estudo em tela o seguinte objetivo: compreender os significados atribuídos ao cuidado de si pelos enfermeiros na oncologia pediátrica à luz da revisão integrativa. Método: A Revisão Integrativa (RI) foi o método de escolha selecionado para a busca de estudos primários na literatura, permitindo uma abordagem no contexto internacional.

Background: Early-onset sepsis (EOS) is a syndrome with high morbidity and mortality, being a significant component of this rate, both due to the difficult clinical and laboratory diagnosis, as well as the urgency of intensive care and antibiotic therapy. The objective of this study was to analyze the criteria used for the empirical treatment of presumed EOS in a public maternity hospital in the state of Pará, Brazil.

The objective of this pilot study was to associate the participants’ emotions while viewing footage of themselves, giving a public presentation and sociodemographic characteristics with the self-assessment when speaking in public. The Self Statements during Public Speaking Scale was applied. The level of significance adopted in the tests was p<0.05. A significance trend was considered when p<0.08. The sample consisted of 30 medical students with a mean age of 20.3 years (±1.6). The total score obtained was 37.8 (±5.9).

Introduction: The nasal septum wall, located midline in the nasal cavity, is formed by the perpendicular lamina of the ethmoid, the vomer and the cartilage of the nasal septum, but can deviate to both sides (right or left) in the nasal cavity. , for various reasons such as congenital disorders, inflammatory diseases, infectious or even trauma, causing the deviated septum. Objective: The aim of this study was to perform a literature review study on the clinical anatomy of nasal septum deviation. Methodology: The article is a literature review study.

In the northern region, more precisely in the state of Amazonas there is a great demand for river trips, rivers are the permanent roads that in the water regime puts to the test a whole logistics of passengers and cargo that require strategies for universal comfort of passengers, however the poor organization of ticket purchases ends up becoming a waste of time mainly for people who live far from the center of Manaus-AM, thus delaying these users who are often unable to make their trips.

This article describes a quantitative research carried out with students from an academic institution in the city of Manaus-AM. Starting from the hypothesis of the time that students are waiting in a queue at a secretariat. Bearing in mind that in the present times the Information Technology is in an increasing evolution, where the mobile means of communication such as smartphones and the internet connection are extremely accessible by the population, thinking about this scope and the solution of this problem that is common to society in general.
