Clinical anatomy of uretheric constraints: A systematic review

Introduction: The ureter is a channel responsible for carrying urine to the urinary bladder, through peristalsis and contractions, however, this channel can be affected by three types of constrictions, at the junction of the ureter with the renal pelvis called the ureteropelvic, from the edge of the pelvis to the passage of the iliac blood vessels called the abdominopelvic and at the intersection of the external iliac artery and the bladder wall called the vesicoureteral.

Maternal deaths by haemorrhage in the gynaecology and obstetrics department at the teaching hospital of cocody

Objective: To improve the management of hemorrhagic complications during gravido-puerperium in order to reduce its lethality in the gynaecology and obstetrics department of Cocody’s Teaching Hospital. Patients and methods: This was a retrospective and descriptive study that involved women who died of hemorrhagic causes in the service during the period of gravido-puerperium as defined by the WHO. It covered a period from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2017 at the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department of Cocody’s Teaching Hospital.

Anatomoclinical and surgical correlation of the radial artery with the surface branch of the radial nerve

The present study aimed to correlate the clinical and surgical anatomy of the radial artery with the superficial branch of the radial nerve, looking for injuries to this nerve in the literature through surgery of the mentioned vessel. Thus, the present study consisted of observational and descriptive research. Eleven upper limbs and a digital caliper were used to measure the distance between the radial artery and the superficial branch of the radial nerve (vasculonervous bundle). Dissections of the anterior, posterior, lateral and medial sides of the arm, forearm, and hand were performed.

Factors associated with suicidal ideation among male college students

This study aimed to estimate factors associated with suicidal ideation among male students from a public university in Brazil. This is a cross-sectional, analytical study conducted with 375 students from a federal university in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Data were collected in 2019, using a questionnaire composed of questions from validated instruments. The variable "suicidal ideation" was investigated by the question: "During the last 12 months, have you seriously considered a suicide attempt?".

Vertical transmission by hepatitis c virus: a literature review

Vertical transmission (TV) by the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is considered a public health problem since there are no possible interventions to prevent or reduce the risks of transmission. Vertical transmission can occur in the intrauterine period and the peripartum in the presence of risk factors. The objective of the research was to analyze the transmission of risk factors from mother to child and recommendations for infection with hepatitis C. The samples were taken from the national and international scientific literature in the databases of Pubmed, MEDLINE, and LILACS.

Factors associated with obesity in adolescents with autistic spectrum disorder: an integrative literature review

Introduction: Obesity is a reality among adolescents today, and it is no different among those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), but with greater representation due to several factors that culminate in this accumulation of fat. Objective: The objective of this study was to identify, through an integrative literature review, the factors associated with obesity in adolescents with ASD. Method: A bibliographic survey of research was carried out that evaluated these factors in the period from 2014 to 2020 at the Virtual Health Library and Pubmed.

Organizational behavior and the development of a safety culture in the care of patients suspected of contamination by covid-19(sars-cov-2)

Objective: Understand from the emergence of the new coronavirus, to the development of security measures for its prevention worldwide, the organizational behavior and facilitate the development of a safety culture in the care of patients suspected of being infected by COVID-19. Method: This study corresponds to a reflective analysis structured through an expanded search of the literature, resulting in a sample of several documents from the World Health Organization, Ministry of Health and authors with expertise in the subject in question.

Prevalência de aleitamento materno exclusivo e seus indicadores na atenção básica

Objetivo: analisar a prevalência de aleitamento materno exclusivo em lactentes até 6 meses de idade e sua associação com indicadores maternos. Estudo transversal, realizado com nutrizes em cinco unidades de saúde da atenção básica de Niterói-RJ, Brasil. Para análise da associação de variáveis categóricas com aleitamento materno exclusivo, foram utilizados os testes qui-quadrado e exato de Fisher. Para comparar valores numéricos entre lactentes que tiveram aleitamento materno exclusivo ou não, utilizou-se teste não paramétrico de Mann-Whitney.

Associação da capacidade funcional com o perfil clínico de idosos longevos da comunidade

Objective: to investigate the association between the functional capacity and the clinical profile in adults over 80. Method: a descriptive, cross-sectional study, conducted conducted with 103 adults over 80 from two Basic Health Units in Teresina-PI To assess functional capacity were used the Katz Index for basic activities of daily living (BADL), the Lawton and Brody Scale for Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) and the Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB).

Autopercepção e impactos em saúde bucal do edentulismo na população adulta e idosa do município de caruaru

The study aims to analyse elderly and adult edentulous patient profiles from Caruaru City, as well as the impacts and auto perception on oral health. It is a quantitative and cross-sectional study with an exploratory and analytical approach, developed at Local Basic Health Care Units. A convenience sampling (no random) was adopted, with adults and elderly recruited at clinical dental care. 749 patients were analyzed, seperated into adults (53,8%) and elderly (46,2%).
