Research instrument on the knowledge of health professionals about patient safety in a public hospital in tocantins

Introduction: Patient safety can directly affect the quality of care provided and, although undesirable, incidents can configure opportunities for improvement, as it indicates a process that needs changes, with a focus on the performance of health teams. Objective: To develop an investigation instrument to identify the knowledge of health professionals about the occurrence of incidents related to patient safety. Materials and Methods: This is an exploratory, cross-sectional, descriptive design with a qualitative approach.

Impacts on purchase and consumption habits: how the global pandemic is transforming consumer behavior in juazeirense

The pandemic is global, generated by the so-called COVID19, the virus that put the whole world in isolation at home. Juazeiro do norte is an important city of the Brazilian cariri from Ceará. This research sought to understand, through a digital survey, carried out with 860 people, what were the impacts on purchasing and consumption habits in this new era. What is normal is that the majority of the population has stopped the acquisitions given not only the moment, but the uncertainties of how the market will deal with the resumption.

Characterization of traffic accidents with victims assisted by the mobile emergency care service (samu)

Objective: To characterize traffic accidents involving victims assisted by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU, in its Portuguese initials). Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional, quantitative study, using data from 1,318 records of SAMU occurrences with trauma victims due to traffic accidents attended between 2014 and 2016. Results: There was a high prevalence of traffic accidents (56.2%), with motorcycles being the most commonly recorded (86.0%). The percentage of multiple traumas was 48.0%.

Phytosocyologic characterization and associated sediment in a mangrove area with impacts of oil spill, Todos os santos bay, Bahia, Brazil

This article presents the phytosociological characteristics of the São Paulo River estuary, northeastern part of Todosos Santos Bay, a mangrove area with impacts of oil spill as well as the physical-chemical composition of the plant of individuals associated with sediments. For qualitative, phytosociological research, the multiple plot method was applied, with a total of five 20x25 m2 plots.

O mobile banking é a expansão da rede de telefonia móvel juntamente à inovação da tecnologia da informação e comunicação (TIC). Nesse sentido, é observada na literatura uma importante linha de pesquisa, utilizando modelos baseados em intenções que justificam a tomada de decisão da utilização de nova tecnologia.

Circular economy and its strategic role in education_a qualitative and quantitative approach from the perspective of a public school

This paper aims to present a study carried out in a municipal school on the city of Manaus, in the state of Amazonas (Brazil). The proposal was to assess students' perception of the concepts related to education and sustainability and how the circular economy can be boosted in society through consistent educational policies. The methodology consisted of the application of a questionnaire to students of a public school, in order to assess their perception about the environmental theme and the promotion of circular actions.

The process of adaptation of maternity / fatherhood in the care of children with special needs

This study is guided by the following question: How is the process of adapting parents to care for children with special needs? In order to answer this question, we aim to: describe and analyze the adaptation process of parents in relation to the care of children with special needs, and it is justified by the importance of the possibility of raising discussions and improvements in care proposals for the population of research study. This is a qualitative case study.

Home visit and the construction of the medical student's ethical principles

The medical course of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo transitioned from the learning in the essentially hospital model to inserting the student in the Primary Health Care. In this process, the home visit was a fundamental instrument for the teaching-learning. The objective was to analyze the contribution of home visit to the medical student's ethical training. The study carried out through interviews with 29 students (first to sixth year) about their experience with home visit.
