Objetivo: analisar as evidências da literatura sobre os conhecimentos atitudes e práticas de gestantes para o autocuidado na prevenção da infecção por SARS-COV-2. Métodos:Revisão integrativa realizada em abril de 2021 com busca na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e nas bases de dados: SCOPUS, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) via PubMed, Science Direct, Cochrane Coleboration, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINHAL), Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS).

The deprivation of maternal care during the initial development period, as well as interruption of early breastfeeding, promotes changes in eating behavior, however, the underlying neuromodulatory mechanisms have not been fully understood. Studies demonstrate theimportance of the nociceptin receptor (NOP) in modulating the immediate hedonic impact and the hyperphagic effect associated with nociceptin/orphanin FQ (N/OFQ or nociceptin) overexpression.

O território brasileiro possui características geográficas diversificadas, o que contribui para um potencial eólico altamente relevante, principalmente nos estados nordestinos, que apresentam juntos mais de 16 GW de potência instalada, representado um pouco mais de 88% de toda potência eólica instalada no Brasil. O objetivo desta pesquisa consiste em descrever o setor de geração de energia eólica no Estado do Ceará, desde o primeiro parque instalado até os dias atuais, e apresentar as perspectivas para o futuro desse setor no Estado.

A parada cardiorrespiratória (PCR) é definida como uma súbita cessação da atividade cardíaca que se confirma pela ausência de circulação e ventilação respiratória. Os aspectos epidemiológicos que envolvem à PCR pediátrica são pouco discutidos na literatura e diferem dos adultos quanto a etiologia e prognóstico.

This article analyzes the contributions and impacts triggered by university extension activities in the economic development environment. Based on the case of a small town, represented by the municipality of Iporá (Goiás, Brazil), we discuss how this way of interaction/relationship between university and society has an impact on the valorization of local resources and aptitudes and on the promotion of new vocations through a process of disseminating knowledge and searching for collective solutions to local problems.

This paper aims to find the Gothic elements in Rudyard Kipling, selected short story. After the first reading of the short story “My own true ghost story” gives a lot of gothic elements. The analysis of Victorian Gothic stories will give, how fragile young men as heroes suffer a lot, the contrast of both the present time and the past time, isolation, gloomy atmosphere, and the characters' language and behavior. For example in HG Wells' story, we find a young man who refuses to accept that the red room is haunting.

O presente presente artigo, resultante do Trabalho de Conclusão do Curso (TCC) de Especialização em Gerontologia da primeira autora, orientado pela segunda, pretende explorar as contradições existentes entre os estudos do desenvolvimento no processo do envelhecimento, as pesquisas sobre a demografia no Brasil e no mundo, e qual o impacto e desafios do aumento da população de longevos no mercado de trabalho.

Patients admitted to the Intensive Care Units (ICUs) have weakened general health and immunity, becoming more susceptible to systemic and infectious diseases, which especially compromise the cardiac and respiratory systems. These complications can modify the initial clinical picture of health leading to the risk of death. The origin and metastatic effect of these infections can originate from the primary infection of the oral cavity.

O objetivo do estudo foi identificar as significações, o conhecimento e a percepção que os pais de jovens com Síndrome de Down possuem sobre as relações afetivo-sexuais de seus filhos. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, de natureza qualitativa. A pesquisa foi conduzida em uma Organização Não Governamental (ONG) localizada no município de Recife-PE. A amostra do estudo envolveu 11 pais de jovens com Síndrome de Down com idades entre 15 a 24 anos. A coleta foi realizada através de entrevista do tipo semiestruturada.

This article describes firearm death rates and estimates the factors associated with this phenomenon between 2014 and 2019, according to sex, in the State of Ceará, Brazil. This is a population, ecological and cross-sectional study. During the period in focus, a high firearm death rate was found in this state (83.8%), with a high incidence among men (92.6%), and an even greater intensity in the years 2017 and 2018. Regardless of sex, fewer cases occurred in 2016 and 2019.
