Time trend of infant mortality due to congenital malformations in recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
Objective: to analyze the time trend of infant mortality due to congenital malformations of residents of Recife, PE, during the period from 2001 to 2016. Methods: it is an ecological time-series study whose data sources were the Information Systems about Mortality (SIM) and Live Births (Sinasc). The rates and proportion of mortality due to congenital malformations were analyzed on a monthly basis by the autoregressive model of moving averages with an ancillary variable (ARMAX).
