Pain COVID-19 has become an important challenge for global health due to its potential capacity for rapid spread throughout the world. Despite the impacts arising from the ongoing pandemic, there is an opportunity to promote reflection on the aspects that guide health actions within the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS), in order to assess and understand their needs. Despite all its importance for the administration of health in hospitals, nursing does not always enjoy the recognition to which it is entitled.

A pandemia da doença do coronavírus 2019 (COVID-19) é conhecida por ter se originado em Wuhan, China, em dezembro de 2019. A pandemia se espalhou rapidamente ao redor do mundo, causando cada vez mais prejuízo para os grupos populacionais. Com a rápida disseminação da infecção, o número de mulheres grávidas e neonatos com COVID-19 também aumentou. As vias biologicamente prováveis de transmissão perinatal do SARS-CoV-2 incluem: via transplacentária, contato com secreções infectadas durante o parto e com gotículas respiratórias após o parto, além de transmissão através do leite materno.

This article is based on the purpose of investigating and, certainly, ratifying the pertinence and even the progress raised in the brazilian procedural systematic due to the incorporation of the overruling technique, traditionally linked to the common law system and intended for the review of already consolidated judicial precedents.

Objetivou-se avaliar o controle de plantas daninhas na cultura do milho verde utilizando leguminosas como cobertura do solo em comparação ao sistema convencional de manejo. O experimento foi conduzido no Instituto Federal de Roraima/IFRR -Campus Novo Paraíso, em delineamento experimental em blocos ao acaso, com quatro tratamentos e cinco repetições. Aárea foi preparada mecanicamente, corrigida e adubada de acordo com as recomendações para a cultura do milho. O plantio foi realizado no espaçamento de 0,9m entre linhas e 4 sementes por metro linear, utilizado sementes do híbrido AG 105.

A Diabetes Mellitus (DM) é um dos mais crescentes problemas de saúde pública, entre as complicações crônicas do DM, a ulceração e a amputação de extremidades, como por exemplo o Pé Diabético, são algumas das mais graves e de maior impacto socioeconômico, sendo, infelizmente, ainda frequentes na população. Para a elaboração do estudo, foi coletado as informações sobre quadros de pé diabético com complicações no período de 2002 a 2012 informados no Sistema de Notificação de Agravos de Saúde (SINAN) disponível no Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS).

Osteosarcoma is a primary malignant mesenchymal tumor, often diagnosed in canines. The aim of this report is to describe the palliative approach used in a canine patient with osteosarcoma in the distal humerus and proximal radioulna. An 11-year-old Labrador canine was seen, diagnosed with arthrosis, treated with chondroitin, omega 3, and carprofen in acute crises. On physical/orthopedic examination, claudication of the forelimb limb, increased volume, crepitation and instability in the right humerus-radioulnar joint were identified.

The aim of the study was to enunciate the knowledge of nurses who work in pre-hospital care in the actions taken in the face of CPA. It is a field research with a quantitative approach of exploratory descriptive character. A pre-Hospital Urgency and Emergency company in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro was sought as a setting. Twenty nurses with specific contracts who received periodic training in ACLS and 20 nurses who work in the operation where they do not have training in ACLS were interviewed.

The admission to Higher Education represents an important stage for the personal, social and professional evolution of the human being. The objective was to evaluate the specificities of the sociodemographic profile of adult students enrolled at the institution. It is about a quantitative, cross-sectional study and questions that include qualitative aspects. The study was carried out with 103 active adults in higher education, belonging to undergraduate courses. The collections of the data occurred through a sociodemographic form.

A equipe de enfermagem que atua em UTI possui uma rotina ligada diretamente com pacientes graves, podendo observar, constantemente, situações da morte. Consequentemente, a isto podem apresentar diversos sentimento em relação às perdas. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo tem como objetivo realizar um levantamento sobre a percepção de profissionais de enfermagem, a respeito da morte, no contexto da UTI. Para tanto, utilizou-se como método, um estudo descritivo e exploratório com abordagem qualitativa de dados.
