Objetivo: Compreender a vivência de mulheres frente ao diagnóstico e tratamento do câncer de colo uterino. Método: pesquisa exploratória, qualitativa com mulheres com diagnóstico de câncer de útero, atendidas em um hospital de referência no Estado do Maranhão. A coleta foi realizada por meio de entrevistas utilizando-se um roteiro estruturado. A análise foi realizada por meio da análise temática.
