This article underscores the pivotal role of patient-centered care in improving nursing management outcomes. Patient-centered care, characterized by understanding, respecting, and addressing each patient's unique needs and values, has proven to foster trust, enhance compliance, and boost patients' emotional well-being. The incorporation of this approach has led to reduced hospital readmissions, higher patient satisfaction, and decreased healthcare costs. However, challenges like time constraints, cultural barriers, and resistance to change can hamper its implementation.

The intersection of healthcare and technology presents a vibrant tapestry of advancements, with the overhaul of medical records management emerging as a standout transformation. Traditionally reliant on labor-intensive manual methods, medical recordkeeping has witnessed a profound metamorphosis with the integration of information technology (IT). This shift heralds the age of electronic health records (EHRs) — a system characterized by its digital prowess, enhanced efficiency, and pinpoint accuracy.

O Covid-19 disseminou-se pelo mundo tornando-se uma emergência global de saúde pública e a mais marcante pandemia da atualidade.Surgiram novos desafios devido ao isolamento social, como o medo de contaminação e transmissão, o que afetou os serviços de acompanhamento de saúde da população de pacientes com câncer. O presente estudo foi do tipo descritivo-quantitativo, onde fontes primárias foram utilizadas para a obtenção dos dados. Um formulário impresso foi utilizado para coleta de dados, com a maioria das questões de múltiplas escolhas e uma questão subjetiva.

A proteção cardiovascular conferida ao ômega-3 é relevante e está relacionada principalmente à redução de triglicerídeos, melhora da pressão arterial, diminuição da inflamação no interior das paredes de artérias, redução na incidência de infarto agudo do miocárdio/acidente vascular encefálico e aumento da estabilidade da placa aterosclerótica. O objetivo do presente estudo foi correlacionar os efeitos do ômega-3 à proteção cardiovascular e o processo de envelhecimento com qualidade na saúde e longevidade.

This study aims to report the case of a patient with double entry univentricular congenital heart disease with coarctation of the aorta, transposition of great vessels and great ductus arteriosus, whose treatment was specific and individualized surgery to correct anatomical and functional anomalies. The information was obtained by reviewing medical records, interviewing the patient's guardians, photographing the diagnostic and therapeutic methods to which the patient was submitted, and reviewing the literature.

O uso de esteroides promove impactos prejudiciais na saúde dos esportistas, gerando repercussões temporárias ou permanentes. O objetivo do presente estudo é apresentar as definições em relação aos esteroides anabólicos androgênicos, demonstrar o contexto histórico relacionado ao uso dessas substâncias, explicar os mecanismos de ação desses fármacos e apresentar as consequências do seu uso.

This work consisted in the production of biolubricants from castor oil using oil transesterification, followed by methyl and ethyl epoxidation of its esters (biodiesel). The materials involved do not process foram characterized through their chemical and physical-chemical properties. The transesterification, which transforms the oil into biodiesel, provides a yield of 94% for the methyl biodiesel and 92.7% for the ethyl biodiesel. It is epoxidation, a reaction that transforms biodiesel into biolubricant, leading to a yield of 91.3% for methyl biolubricant and 87.6% for ethyl biolubricant.

The present study seeks to prioritize the Tirthan watershed for conservation and management of natural resources on the basis of morphological and land use/land cover characteristics. The study has utilized morphometric information derived from drainage layers computed from toposheets. The relief, slope, aspect and hypsometric parameters have been analysed using ASTER Digital Elevation Model (DEM) with 30 m spatial resolution. To generate the land use/ land cover information, the Google Earth images have been used.

O presente artigo objetiva analisar a especificidade da prática analítica junto ao paciente com diagnóstico médico de fibromialgia. Para tanto, buscou-se identificar os aspectos clínicos discutidos na literatura científica lacaniana relativos à doença reumatológica cuja característica principal é a dor musculoesquelética difusa e crônica.

Introdução: Por meio da revisão bibliográfica e utilizando-se do método dedutivo, o presente ensaio busca examinar os principais argumentos do autor neozelandês Jeremy Waldron às bases fundacionais da revisão judicial da legislação, sobretudo em seu conhecido artigo The Core of The Case Against Judicial Review, e as questões empíricas e teóricas a respeito dos temas conexos, como a democracia, o constitucionalismo e o protagonismo do Poder Judiciário. Ao final, a partir das premissas construídas, será conduzida uma breve reflexão sobre a atuação do Poder Judiciário no Brasil.
