The study investigated the influence of job stress on family social behaviour of bankers in Enugu State of Nigeria. The study was aimed at identifying the sources and influences of job stress on bankers. The study which adopted a descriptive survey design was carried out among 330 marketing bank staff working in selected commercial banks in Enugu State.
The purpose of this research was to study the higher secondary students’ participation in environmental activities in relation to environmental awareness. More than 70 percent of total geographical area of NER is covered by hills and about 3 million hectare is estimated to be under soil erosion hazard as a result of practice of jhum cultivation.
Thermal control in buildings is highly essential in the tropics where high solar radiation is received throughout the year. Its importance cannot be overemphasized in the face of climate change which is rapidly changing our world and exposing it to higher risk of environmental disasters. Climate change has been attributed to increased energy use from various human activities which cause a release of carbon dioxide and other green house gases into the atmosphere. Thermal control in buildings is one of the gate ways to minimizing the energy used for cooling.
Objective: The study was designed to evaluate anti-ulcer activity of ethanolic and aqueous seed extracts of Gynocardia odorata roxb. by using pylorus ligation and indomethacin induced ulcer models inrats.
The entitled work "abstract Study and validation of a device of tests of quality control of the mechanical characteristics of tiles, wide size in micro-concrete " has for main object to propose a technology of improvement of the tests of quality control of the mechanical characteristics such as: fold resistance three (3) points and four (4) points, shock resistance and traction resistance of the heel.
Utilization of spent duck through sausage preparation and estimating the optimum storage condition throughout the retail chain was the objective of the present study. PET/Poly and laminate of metalized PET/Poly with polyethylene pouches under aerobic and vacuum packaging stored in refrigerator (4±1° C) and freezer (-18±1° C) condition were considered in the experiment. TBA value, pH, Tyrosine value, TPC, TPSC and YMC of the samples increased with the storage period whereas a decreasing trend in case of moisture and all the sensory parameters throughout the storage period was observed.
A pot experiment was conducted during rabi season in the net house of the experimental farm of Department of Botany, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh to study the comparative effect of two doses of basal nitrogen (50 and 100 kg N ha-1) on the performance of Abelmoschus esculentus L. grown in two levels of coal ash (F20 and F40) amended soil. So, low doses of these two waste products are beneficial for growth and yield.
The pilot study is conducted using 30 adult albino rats (150-200 gm). They were divided into one control and two experimental groups of equal numbers. Group 1 is Control (Ctrl), Group 2 is Chronic Depression (Ch.Dp) and Group 3 is Treatment Group (Ch.Tt) following Chronic Depression. Ctrl Group received food and water ad-libitum, Ch.Dp Group received Chronic Depression by immobilization method in a Rat Immobilizer for 7 weeks, whereas Ch.Tt Group received anti-depressant drug (Flouxetine 1mg/kg body weight orally) for 4 weeks following depression.
