Insurgency activities have led to socio-economic and infrastructural challenges and almost total collapse in the Northeast, Nigeria. Prior to Boko Haram insurgency, most people in the Northeast were involved in agricultural and socio-economic activities. However, the negative effect of insurgency led to displacement of over three million inhabitants, reducing them to refugees with adverse effects on their livelihoods. But with relative peace being restored in most affected communities, displaced people are leaving IDPs camps for their communities.

The effect of nitrogen was investigated on the micro propagation of three cultivars (Angoorlata, K5-7, A3ad-8) of Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum MILL.) to overcome the challenges related to its cultivation. Sterilized seeds of three cultivars were transferred on hormone free medium and used stem as explants for culture initiation. The stemexplant was cultured on MS medium fortified with BAP (0.5-5.0mg/l) along with Kn(0.5-5.0mg/l), maximum shoot multiplication were recorded on BAP (3mg/l) in cultivars.

Katigatavata is disease with pain in lumbar region. Lumbar spondylolisthesis, anterior displacement of vertebrae or vertebral column in relation to vertebrae below. Katigata vata is not mentioned separately in any Ayurvedic text. It is mentioned in eighty nanatmaj vata vyadhi in charak samhita. Charak has stated that Basti is the half treatment of vata vyadhi. Current case study was carried out at Ayurveda hospital. A 54 years male patient with 6 months history of lumbar spondylolisthesis was treated.

Introduction of Daylight in Buildings Throughout history, daylight has been a primary source of lighting in buildings, supplemented originally with burned fuels and more recently with electrical energy. Daylight can provide a welcome and dynamic contribution to the human experience in buildings. Good day lighting design can result in energy savings and can shift peak electrical demand during afternoon hours when daylight availability levels and utility rates are high.

The present study is a novel study carried out to assess the use of economical biosorbent material such as peel powder of various fruits (banana, orange, pomegranate) for detoxification of heavy metals such as Cadmium (Cd) in fenugreek (Trigonella foecum-graecum). The efficacy of the fruit peel powder was checked by adding them into pot containing fenugreek seeds along with heavy metal cadmium in different conc. (5mM, 10mM, 15mM and 20mM).

Introduction: A simple, selective, linear, precise and accurate RP-HPLC method was developed and validated for rapid assay of Sumatriptan Succinate in Bulk and Pharmaceutical tablet Formulation. Isocratic elution at a flow rate of 1.5 ml/min was employed on symmetry Shimadzu LC-20 ATVP Kromasil C-18 column Column at ambient temperature. The mobile phase consisted of Orthophosphoric acid(1%):Acetonitrile : Methanol (90:5:5 v/v) . The UV detection wavelength was 210nm and 20 µl sample was injected. The run time for Sumatriptan Succinate is 6 min.

This project shows the process of conceptualization and construction of luminaires with environmentally friendly materials reducing their time of degradation. This was developing with a polymer-based composite material reinforced with vegetable fibers such as "nopal" fibers, so commonly called. The plant of scientific name "Opuntia spp", inside the botany, belongs to the cacti family, having as main characteristic the storage of water, with which they survive to periods of intense heat.

A total of 34 cows, out of which 10 cows were in late gestation and the remaining 24 cows with a history of retained placenta and abnormal lochial discharge, were selected for the purpose of study. The 10 cows in late gestation were placed in the control group. Group T0 (n=10) was kept as control and not given any treatment. Group T1 (n=6) was treated with Exapar liquid (M/S Ayurvet Limited) at the rate of 100ml twice on first day followed by 50ml twice daily for another 3-5 days.

Al2O3 - ZnO composite material was obtained by adding the Aluminium chloride (AlCl3 •6H2O) (Hexahydrate) powder of different weight percent (0.5, 1 3, 5 and 7 wt %) into Analar Reagent grade (99.9 % pure) ZnO powder by mixing mechnochemically in acetone medium. The prepared materials were sintered at 1000oC for 12h in air ambience and ball milled to ensure sufficiently fine particle size. The structural properties of the powder materials were investigated by X-ray diffraction analysis.
