Katigatavata is disease with pain in lumbar region. Lumbar spondylolisthesis, anterior displacement of vertebrae or vertebral column in relation to vertebrae below. Katigata vata is not mentioned separately in any Ayurvedic text. It is mentioned in eighty nanatmaj vata vyadhi in charak samhita. Charak has stated that Basti is the half treatment of vata vyadhi. Current case study was carried out at Ayurveda hospital. A 54 years male patient with 6 months history of lumbar spondylolisthesis was treated. The response to the treatment therapeutic effect were evaluated through symptomatic relief and degree of Anterior flexion increased from 150 to 900.
